Since there was some support over in Damage Control Central for continuing to use this template, and I haven't gotten any opposition to my suggestions in Talk, I'm running with them.

Second term is a number.  It throws the page into a category: "Bookworm-1, Bookworm-2," etc. The levels are as follows:

* "0" = July 2008 version, entirely unrestored.
Bookworm-0 is "June 2008." You increment the number each time work is done to bring the page back into compliance.
* "1" = Restored from a cached version, but could use a run through an HTML-to-wikicode converter.

* "2" = Restored from a cached version and run through a convertor, but still contains visible HTML-garble that needs to be hand-cleaned.
'''In theory''' this means that pages with high numbers are closer to being 'ready.'
* "3" = No visible HTML-garbling, but still has formatting/content weirdness that affects the article's appearance.
* "4" = Page looks great but needs code-cleanup at the editing level.

In the wake of the Great Bookworm Database Crash of Aught-Nine, this page is on the road to recovery. See what the recovery-number means and how you can help.

{{bookworm|1}}

Second term is a number. It throws the page into a category: "Bookworm-1, Bookworm-2," etc. The levels are as follows:

  • "0" = July 2008 version, entirely unrestored.
  • "1" = Restored from a cached version, but could use a run through an HTML-to-wikicode converter.
  • "2" = Restored from a cached version and run through a convertor, but still contains visible HTML-garble that needs to be hand-cleaned.
  • "3" = No visible HTML-garbling, but still has formatting/content weirdness that affects the article's appearance.
  • "4" = Page looks great but needs code-cleanup at the editing level.
