The Fallen (notes)
Look, I wasn't the one who took out that note on The Fallen's page about the multiversal singularity. I've gotten into edit wars over shit like that (like the page for the One), putting that stuff in. You can leave that in for all I care, but don't falsely accuse me of doing that shit.--AWT88 11:18, 9 July 2009 (EDT)

Revision as of 15:18, 9 July 2009

To The Articleabout Optimus Prime I had copied it into a word document and I must check the images that they work It is not fromWikia!!! MasterX244 08:30, 23 March 2009 (EDT)

Huh?

You can link to an image without actually displaying an image by placing a colon (:) just before Image.

Uh... I know this...

Oh, and to fix the synopsis, look for places where sentences are connected to other sentences without a space after the full stop. That means a new paragraph line was cut out during the import

Wait, what page is being referred to here, exactly? I don't have a clue what merited this - SanityOrMadness 19:45, 23 March 2009 (EDT)

Oh...

Okay, I've looked through your contribs and I think I know what's being referred to.

You dialled the wrong number :). You want User talk:Starfield, not my talk page. - SanityOrMadness 19:49, 23 March 2009 (EDT)

Oops. Yeah, Rob was going through a billion deletes at the time and I clicked your name by mistake. Sorry! Side note: This server's sluggishness is annoying me. --FFN 01:46, 24 March 2009 (EDT)

You are mocking me.

The Bot is ~33% of the way through removing all the wiki links (as well as performing other formatting fixes) on ~25,000 pages. It's made more than 8000 edits already. That many pages just takes TIME. -Derik 11:43, 24 March 2009 (EDT)

I was unaware the bot was doing that, as I didn't see the announcement (and I've hidden bot edits). The bot will remove *all* instances of the wikia links including ones on image file pages, yes? --FFN 11:45, 24 March 2009 (EDT)

Perlin cover

Why the defensiveness toward Perlin's cover? I think he did a good job on a lot of the G1 stuff, but you gotta admit, that cover sucks! --MistaTee 17:42, 6 April 2009 (EDT)

He's also pretty old now (honestly they should have just asked him to draw Optimus Prime based on how HE remembers drawing it, not IDW Optimus Prime). I'd rather not say anything at all than say something not-nice. Too much bad stuff has already been said elsewhere, so let's not follow the trend. --FFN 17:45, 6 April 2009 (EDT)

Homey's User

Hey FFN thanks for fixin my user photo. I wasn't sure how to do it.Homey 12:11, 12 April 2009 (EDT)

"He's not that car"

He's about as much "that car" as G1 Detour is if i'm not mistaken. If he's not based on the Corvette Indy, what car is he based on?--86.87.28.191 19:05, 6 May 2009 (EDT)

I don't recall. When this toy first appeared online, there was a thread a TFW where people tried to find out what car it was, and people posted plenty of recent concepts (probably electric or hydrogen cars) that looked more like Scout Dead End than the Chevy car you posted. --FFN 09:33, 7 May 2009 (EDT)
I remember the thread, but iirc, no car really got close untill the similiarity to Detour was noticed.--86.87.28.191 19:09, 10 May 2009 (EDT)

Hey, since you're going through the movie screencaps

If it's not too much added work, you can reduce the nag text in the screencap boilerplate by doing --RosicrucianTalk 13:28, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

Thanks. However, that template needs to be cleaned up - there are two unused ]] brackets floating around there after "This image is a screen capture from the Transformers live-action movie". --FFN 13:32, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
Oh wait, saw the problem. --FFN 13:39, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
Oh, yeah. My bad. Fixed. I goofed since I didn't preview it before slapping it in nowiki tags.--RosicrucianTalk 13:50, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
Wouldn't it be easier to maek a {{Moviecap{{#if:||{}|}}}} template in the vein of {{G1cap{{#if:||{}|}}}}, {{TFAcap{{#if:||{}|}}}}, etc? - SanityOrMadness 13:56, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
Yes it would. Though we would need two sets of movie verse cap templates, one for Transformers (2007) and one for ROTF. --FFN 13:59, 19 May 2009 (EDT)
{{Moviecap{{#if:||{}|}}}} (for the 2007 movie) is [provisionally] done. It feeds into Category:Movie screen captures (for consistency with other screencap categories; so as to allow it to be a subcat of both Cat:Movie images and Cat:Screen captures; and to avoid flooding Cat:Movie images in the first place), and the only parameter it takes is the image description (so, DESCRIPTION. - SanityOrMadness 14:16, 19 May 2009 (EDT)

Jokey Comment

I actually hadn't intended that to sound too off the wall. The jokey comment was actually in reference to the actor really getting hit in the temple when a prop gun hit him by accident, as revealed by Bay in the commentary. But eh, no biggie. It's all good. --Mighty Megatron 11:53, 20 May 2009 (EDT)

Yeah, I was aware of that. If you really want it in the article, you can put it back, though. --FFN 11:55, 20 May 2009 (EDT)
Nah, it's cool. In retrospect it's not of any major importance.--Mighty Megatron 11:58, 20 May 2009 (EDT)

Ok, sorry about that. But if you don't bother to care about how you type, your edits will always be reverted. --FFN 02:34, 19 June 2009 (EDT)
allright, i always forgive ppl--Eagc7

Egypt / Jordan

Jetfire takes them to Wadi Rum, in Jordan, but does the dialogue say they've landed in Egypt? Maybe the character who says so is wrong, because they have to pass the Egyptian border don't they? Wouldn't be the first time the Movieverse's Earth differs from the real one... Alientraveller 17:12, 2 July 2009 (EDT)

Yeah, the dialogue says it's Egypt. Because they start in Egypt after Jetfire leaves, then they have to go through the Egyptian/Jordan border (which doesn't exist) to get to Petra. Sam got the idea to go to Petra at night under the pyramids, remember? After getting the Matrix, they go to Egypt. --FFN 17:18, 2 July 2009 (EDT)
Ah thanks, I remembered it as them getting across the border to Egypt, working out the clue at the pyramids, and journeying back and forth from Petra to Giza. Dunno why lol, I suppose overall I found the NEST story easier to follow. Alientraveller 17:45, 2 July 2009 (EDT)
Not only that, they made the trip seem like it only took a few hours. --FFN 17:47, 2 July 2009 (EDT)
