Rampage is a Decepticon from the Revenge of the Fallen portion of the live-action film continuity family.

Rampage is a pretty violent guy. A member of the Constructicons, he can be followed by the trail of destruction as he wrecks his way through the battlefield, leaving the smell of diesel fumes and hot tar in his wake. His chassis is covered with scratches, dings and dents as a testament to his intense love of battle. Thoroughly whacked in the cranial unit, his idea of beauty is a pile of Autobot wreckage.

There are two of him: one of them are yellow and form Devastator's left leg.

Two years after the events in Mission City, Decepticons were once again active on Earth. When Soundwave intercepted the location of the All Spark shard and the final resting place of Megatron, teams were dispatched to bring about their commander's resurrection. After Ravage retrieved the shard from Diego Garcia, he led Rampage, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scalpel and a smaller Constructicon to the depths of the Laurentian Abyss. When Scalpel examined Megatron's corpse, he ordered the larger Constructicons to kill the smallest one in their group for donor parts, which they obliged.

During the climactic battle in Egypt between the Autobot NEST forces and The Fallen's Decepticons, Rampage's combiner limb counterpart became part of Devastator, attacking former Sector Seven agent Seymour Simmons, Leo Spitz, Skids and Mudflap. Meanwhile, Rampage himself appeared during the battle in the Egyptian town to lure Sam Witwicky into a trap by releasing his captive parents, Ron and Judy. Sam was willing to trade the remains of the Matrix for his parents, but when he realised Bumblebee had arrived, managed to position Rampage for an attack. After a long battle (which also resulted in the death of Ravage), Bumblebee killed Rampage.

Elsewhere, as Devastator smashed away at the Great Pyramid of Giza after shrugging off Skids and Mudflap, Simmons called upon the United States Navy to fire upon the giant Decepticon. The U.S.S. Rampage and the six other Legends class Constructicons combine to form Devastator. In Japan, the Legends class Constructicons are sold individually. Unlike the deluxe toy, he does not feature a "standard" robot mode, but has the (in fiction) jackhammer mode. Also unlike the Deluxe toy, he can stand in this mode. He forms the left leg of Devastator.

Rampage transforms from a yellow Caterpillar D11 bulldozer into one of two robot mode configurations, the first of which (his actual in-fiction robot form) is distinctly Vehicon-esque. It lacks any functional legs, instead featuring a spring-loaded "jackhammer" assembly. When the figure is bounced along the ground in this mode, his Mech Alive feature is activated, and a pair of pistons that frame his head pump back and forth. The shovel can be removed in this mode and used as a stand. If legs are preferred, his jackhammer splits and his elaborate kibble backpack unfolds, together forming four leg-struts to create a free-standing robot form that is rather centaurian in design. He features real rubber treads which become arm-mounted whip weapons in robot mode. Unfortunately, due to this design, the treads themselves do not function in vehicle mode.

Like several toys in the Revenge of the Fallen toyline, Rampage has had a mold change done somewhere between his instructions being drawn up and the final version of the toy. On the final toy, the rear flap behind the cabin of the bulldozer runs into a screw section used to hold the robot pelvis together. This change also affects where the rear flap and the bulldozer shovel connect in robot mode. On the instructions, this flap is shown as folding flat against the back of the vehicle and said flap is also folded down much farther in robot mode to connect to the shovel. Strangely, the shovel connection change seems to have been accounted for in the mold change, but not weird conflict in vehicle mode. Unlike some others, this change does not directly affect any of the toy's action features or articulation.

Rampage is the yellow Caterpillar D11 bulldozer that transforms into the left leg of Devastator. Like the other Constructicons in this set, he does not have an individual robot mode.

Robot Heroes Rampage is a cute little figure sculpted hitting the ground in his jackhammer mode. His stubby little whips are deployed, and he has swivel articulation in his shoulders. Rampage is only available in a two-pack with Mudflap.

Rampage is the sculpted left leg of "Desert Devastation" Devastator, a super-sized Robot Heroes figure. He is only available in a multi-pack with Skids and Mudflap in their vehicle modes and William Lennox.

An extremely-simplified version of Rampage's vehicle mode is included as part of Burger King Devastator. Though his ball socket is compatible with any of Devastator's limb connections, it's marked with a D to indicate he forms Devastator's left leg.

Notes

• Although his correct, finalized name is used in the film (in on-screen subtitles, to be precise), Rampage is listed in the credits under his preliminary name of "Skipjack". Much confusion ensued, since nobody had actually heard this preliminary name before.
• During his fight with Bumblebee, 'Bee pins him down and braeks his arm like in some earth wrestling matches.
