Direct fire from the Energon Battle Pistol melts through most armor. It is a decent middle ground between the Scatter Blaster and the Null Ray. It zooms 5x and can get off a few good shots during a close-range battle. Just don't pull it out against a Whirlwinding Soldier-class Transformer and expect victory.
