Alaska is one of the fifty states that make up the United States of America. Unlike most of them, however, Alaska isn't connected to the rest of the country—it's located in the northwestern reaches of Canada, separated from the eastern coast of Russia by a relatively small strait.
Like Canada, it's really cold.

The desolate landscape only served to put increasing stress on his savior Jazz, who had his logic circuits damaged by the Constructicons upon arrival to boot. Hoist was forced to practically drag his confused friend through the Alaskan woods until they reached a dammed-up river. Devastator ended up destroying the dam, allowing Hoist and Jazz to escape using the flowing river. The Mission
