:::They seem to follow the same 'rules' as Star Wars' Stormtroopers or GI Joe's Cobra Vipers. They may be intelligent, but they're just disposable troop fodder. A drone doesn't have to be mindless, after all, and it's pretty clear that the Vehicons have some degree of intelligence. So they're not the same as the drones from Beast Machines. As for the Autobots pounding on them, that's been explicitly answered - it's because they're part of the Decepticon's warrior caste. Drones?
What makes these guys drones? So far in the cartoon they seem to be generic Decepticons. Who don't talk much. Also, where is their name from? - Starfield 18:16, 27 November 2010 (EST)
- They were named in the comic, if I recall correctly. If they're not drones, the Autobots sure don't seem to have too many qualms about killing them.--RosicrucianTalk 18:18, 27 November 2010 (EST)
- Starscream refers to them as drones in the second episode. Not sure if he's just referring to the miners or not though. --abates 18:35, 27 November 2010 (EST)
- "The drones have been mining in you absence." The drones pictured mining were far away, but didn't seem to have the same silhouette as the Eradicons. - Starfield 18:44, 27 November 2010 (EST)
Deus ex Machina muddies the issue somewhat further with Starscream's comment that "The crew took a vote", which would seem to be beyond the capability of drones. Although then he does go and randomly murder one. Of course, I suppose the crew he was referring to could have been named Decepticons aboard the Nemesis that haven't been shown yet, the same way there's nothing to suggest Makeshift wasn't aboard during Darkness Rising. 82.15.246.28 16:31, 14 March 2011 (EDT)
- Yeah, that would be my guess. I can't imagine non-living drones taking a vote would be something Scrreamer would care about, so we have to assume there are other Cons on the ship...--76.28.76.206 16:55, 14 March 2011 (EDT)

- They seem to follow the same 'rules' as Star Wars' Stormtroopers or GI Joe's Cobra Vipers. The Autobots are far moer merciful to the worker caste Decepticons... typically. - Vanguard 18:28, 16 January 2012 (EST)

Heads?
May be just me, but do the combat and mining variants have different helmets? The combat ones have helmets like in War For Cybertron, shaped like a T, and the miners have Dead Space-ish stripes. Anyone else noticed?

Names?
These guys were recently called "Terrorcons" in the new "Terrorcon Defence" Game on Hubworld.com Maybe add a note about that? --Kaymac192 17:25, 4 February 2011 (EST)
- No, they were called Vehicons. Terrorcons are the Dark Energon zombies. —Interrobang 17:29, 4 February 2011 (EST)
- But yes, you can add a note about them being called Vehicons in that game. - Starfield 17:32, 4 February 2011 (EST)
