Most recently, he auditioned for the roles of Ratchet and General (later Agent) Fowler in Transformers: Prime, but lost the roles to Jeffrey Combs and Ernie Hudson, respectively.
- Very enthusiastic about the Transformers brand and the fandom, Bell even voiced Skywarp and Scrapper in a pitch to IDW for an "All Hail Megatron" motion comic. IDW, however, did not accept the pitch and the project was canned.
- Bell was one of the eight voice actors featured in Shout! Factory's cast reunion in the 25th Anniversary "Matrix of Leadership" Collection of the original series.
- In a Battle Beasts toy commercial, Killer Fish appears to be played by Bell.
