This article is about the Angry Bird. For the M&M, see Red (M&M).
This article is about the very angry bird. For other characters known as Optimus Prime, see Optimus Prime (disambiguation). For other characters known as Ultra Magnus, see Ultra Magnus (disambiguation).
Red is an Autobird from the Angry Birds Transformers continuity.
Selling out is the right of all sentient franchises.

The leader of the Flock, Red was granted the powers of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus when the Allspark Egg crashed into Piggy Island. Now as an Autobird he uses his power to stop the Bad Piggies and Eggbots from taking over the Island!

Games

Angry Birds Transformers

Soon after Piggy island was Cyberformed, all the Autobirds and Deceptihogs were captured and frozen leaving only Optimus Prime bird and Bumblebee bird to save the day. His blasts do low damage and have a moderate rate of fire, which are useless against solid rocks. But, after a few upgrades, his shots get stronger and he also gains the Energon Shield power-up, which can protect him from enemy shots including missiles but they cannot protect him from falling monoliths. He also has two other version, The Energon version and the Ultimate Version which can be unlocked later in the game. This is done the same way rescuing characters is done. Angry Birds Transformers

I want to tell you about the Transformers!

This character article is a stub and is missing information on their fictional appearances. You can help MediaWiki by expanding it.

Toys

Angry Birds Transformers

If you'd have bought Super Mario Bros. Transformers as a kid, you're not allowed to complain.
  • Optimus Prime Bird (Telepods Racer, 2014)
    • Accessories: Telepods base
Part of the Toys"R"Us Angry Birds Transformers toyline, Optimus Prime Bird transforms from robot to truck, his bird head visible in both modes, and based on the design of the live action movie continuity's body for Optimus Prime used in the first three films. He includes a Telepods base which, when placed over a phone or tablet's camera, allows the toy to be 'scanned into' the Angry Birds Transformers app.
This toy was redecoed as Ultra Magnus Bird.

  • Energon Racers Pack (Telepods Racers multi-pack, 2014)
    • Accessories: Telepods base
The Energon Racers Pack includes a clear, energon-themed redeco of Optimus Prime Bird's Racer toy.

  • Optimus Prime Bird Raceway (Telepods track set, 2014)
    • Accessories: Telepods base
The Optimus Prime Bird Raceway set includes Ultimate Optimus Prime Bird, redecoed from his single-packed Racer toy.

  • Optimus Prime Attack Game (Jenga Game, 2014)
    • Accessories: Ramp, launcher
The Optimus Prime Attack Game includes a non-transforming Optimus Prime Bird vehicle, with the bird "head" being removable. The game challenges the player to launch Optimus Prime Bird or Galvatron Pig at a large Grimlock Bird tower and knock down blocks and Deceptihogs.

Notes

  • Optimus Prime Bird's original identity was Red Bird, the 'protagonist' of the Angry Birds franchise.
  • As the player upgrades each playable character, their models can gain new pieces of armor. At level 7, Optimus Prime Bird and Ultra Magnus Bird gain a Powermaster partner attached their grills in engine-mode.
