If you thought Beast Wars II was immune to clip shows, well, you thought wrong!
Synopsis
Megastorm orders the Autorollers to create a giant fortress on planet Gaia. They obey, and destroy the forests of Gaia, burning them to the ground. Meanwhile, the Combatrons are told to eliminate all of their enemies, whether they be Maximal or Insectron. At the lunar sanctuary, Artemis and Moon observe the Predacon attack. Artemis is optimistic, but Moon remains unconvinced, believing the Insectrons are unwilling to fight.
Back on Gaia, Lio Convoy and the other Maximals attempt to extinguish jungle fires. Tasmanian Kid spies on the Autorollers, who are in the process of constructing their fortress. Starscream locates the Maximals, and attacks from the air. A battle ensues, and the other Predacons join in. Meanwhile, Moon says he knows of a way to make the Insectrons fight. Artemis, dying of suspense, grabs Moon by the neck to gain the information.
In the jungle, the Insectrons join the fight on their own, refusing to let the Predacons threaten their place of peace. The Predacons flee, and return to the Galvaburg II, where Megastorm berates them for failure.
At the same time, the Maximals debate the Insectron's trustworthiness. Lio Convoy recalls Bigmos' previous speech about wanting peace.
Artemis mentions that she is still confused by the relationship between the Maximals and Insectrons. Moon tries to clear things up, by replaying several clips of the Insectrons fighting the Maximals. The two teams were only able to unite when Galvatron attacked them in a drunken rampage. With their combined forces, the Maximals and Insectrons are able to defeat Galvatron, by blasting him into a river.
Artemis then recognizes that the way to motivate the Insectrons is through their friendship with the Maximals. Moon replies that this friendship seemed forced. Yet no Japanese clip-show would be complete without a perverted joke, so Moon tells Artemis that she "shouldn't lean forward like that," before noting that they have run out of time. The two close their transmission by saying goodbye, and that they'll see their viewers next week.
