  • In November, Marvel Comics celebrates its 25th Anniversary. In celebration of this event, Issue #22 of the US Transformers comic (first available in June) features a special cover; a portrait shot of Menasor bordered by many of the company's classic superhero characters.
  • The Japanese video game developer NOW Production is founded.

Story of Binaltech

At some point in time after 1985, but before 2005, Ravage is captured by the EDC and kept as a prisoner. He is then kept stasis locked in cassette mode inserted in his future/past self's tape deck, in order to provide his body with a "Life Essence Nucleus", as part of the III's "X-9 Revival Plan".
