Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015 toyline)
Template:Nav-Rid2015 The 2015 Robots in Disguise toyline will coincide with the animated series of the same name. Like the preceding Age of Extinction toyline, it features a mixture of easy-to-transform figures and more "traditional" figures with multi-step conversions.
The overarching gimmick for the line is special faction symbol "Shields", which can be scanned with the accompanying Robots in Disguise app to temporarily unlock the toy for use in-game.
The Robots in Disguise line has an impressive three subline imprints thus far: At general retail, the line's additional gimmick for 2016 was Mini-Con Weaponizers, with the focus being on Mini-Cons that could turn into weapons for the larger figures to wield. Unfortunately, the shelfwarming nature of the line's Mini-Con figures prior to the launch of the Weaponizers subline imprint resulted in this being a rather short-lived affair. For 2017, the new gimmick has been confirmed to be Combiner Force, with the focus now being on figures that could either combine with each other ("Crash Combiners") or with a Mini-Con ("Mini-Con Activators"). In addition, Toys"R"Us was given an exclusive subline imprint named Clash of the Transformers, which featured mostly redecos and retools of existing figures but also contained several exclusive figures of Megatronus for the 2015 line-up. In 2016, a new line-up was released (now co-branded as part of the Mini-Con Weaponizers subline imprint), this time including two exclusive figures of Starscream.

Legion Class
After being relegated to limited-release redecoes for most of 2014, the Legion size class returns in full. The Cyberverse branding has been dropped, along with the larger Commander pricepoint.

One-Step Changers 
Warrior Class The newly named "Warrior" assortment is broadly similar to the traditional Deluxe Class, but somewhat simplified for greater accessibility. As such, their MSRP is slightly lower than contemporary Deluxe figures in the Generations line.
Three-Step Changers / Hyper Change HeroesThree-Step Changers aka Hyper Change Heroes (see the Notes section for more) succeed the Age of Extinction Flip & Change toys as a large, simple-to-transform price point. Unlike those figures, however, there is no unified transformation scheme.
Mini-Cons  Featuring single-step transformations, Mini-Cons transform into projectiles to be launched from larger "Deployer" figures. They include a number of clear-plastic accessories, packaged on the sprue, which can be pegged into various sockets on their bodies. Some of the figures' accessories can be combined with those from their wavemates to form an "energy animal": a Mini-Con armor lion for Wave 1, and a Mini-Con armor shark for Wave 2.
The names "Back" and "Forth" both appear on different variants of the North American packaging for the figure, while international releases (both those in "American" packaging and in multilingual European packaging) consistently feature the name "Decepticon Back".
Mini-Con Weaponizers
Mini-Con DeployersPackaged with a Mini-Con, Deployers are designed to wield and launch the smaller figures, and feature several-step transformations. Keep in mind that with all Deployers, their gimmick only works on a flat surface, as there is a switch that locks the gimmick when the toy is not on a table or the ground. So no, you can't shoot your friends with your Mini-Cons.
Mini-Con Battle PacksFor the first two waves, each Battle Pack includes a roughly Scout-sized "Decepticon Hunter" figure and a Mini-Con opponent; from the third wave onwards, the "Decepticon Hunter" monikers were dropped, with the Mini-Cons now turning into weapons for the included Autobot figures. The Autobot figures include a number of translucent weapon and armor accessories which can also combine into a single large weapon.

The "Clash of the Transformers" subline imprint was released in Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany, except for Warrior Class Megatronus, who was only released in the US, and the 2016 releases, which haven't been released in all markets yet.

This 6-pack was also available as a Toys"R"Us exclusive in Canada and as a general retail release in Latin America (or at least in Brazil).
