Gothic lolitas > Actual content from the cartoon. In Japan, anyway.

From the Cybertron Satellite, Transformers Division (サイバトロンサテライト こちらトランスフォーマー部 Saibatoron Sateraito Kochira Toransufōmā-bu) is one of two supplemental segments added to the Japanese version of the Transformers: Prime cartoon (the second being Arms Micron Theater).

It stars the popular "Idol" group Tokyo Girls' Style, who play with the new toys, and are given instructions, history lessons, and so on by the voice of Vector Sigma (played by Keiji Fujiwara).

For the first five episodes, Cybertron Satellite came before Arms Micron Theater. In episode 6, it moved to the second slot, just before the closing credits, and remained there for the rest of the show.

Season 1

Episode 1
Vector Sigma contacts the surprised Tokyo Girls' Style members, declaring that they will help spread information about Transformers in the form of the "Transformers Division". The girls are vaguely aware of what the franchise is, with Hitomi having watched one of the films, and Ayano decides that they'll use this program to talk about it. Vector Sigma then explains that Transformers started in the 1980s, surprising the girls with the fact that the franchise is older than they are, and that in this latest incarnation of the series, the robots' weapons also turn into robots known as Arms Microns. Perfect Transformation! Enter the Transformers
Episode 2
While the Transformers Division plays with Prime toys, Vector Sigma continues talking about Arms Microns, explaining that they're weapons that have achieved sentience and that wielding them powers Transformers up through a process known as "Arms Up". The computer then points the girls to the Arms Up Mission Game available online to learn more about how this power-up works. Dark Transformation! Dark Energon
Episode 3
During their play time, Mei notices that the Arms Microns can be combined. Vector Sigma reveals that this is known as "Linking", and with specific combinations being called "Combos", such as the Star Saber and Morning Star built by Ayano and Hitomi. While the other three check out the Arms Up Mission Game again, Ayano and Miyu "combine" by posing for the camera together. Rescue Transformation! Fowler in Crisis
Episode 4
Miyu is playing zombie and attacking her friends when Vector Sigma decides it's time to invent some Arms Up modes for battling the undead Terrorcons. They make up Mecha Uchi Ban Ban Mode and Mecha Uchi Kidō Type for Bumblebee and Sekkensenrenzan Mode for Ratchet, and Vector Prime invites the viewers to test the effectiveness of their own combinations against Terrorcon Cliffjumper in the Arms Up Mission Game. The Tokyo Girls' Style members decide to "customize" themselves as well by getting new Transformers Division uniforms. Infiltration Transformation! Battleship Nemesis
Episode 5
The girls receive their new outfits and discuss choosing a division leader, so Vector Sigma suggests that they decide through a competition to see who can transform a Bumblebee toy the fastest. While they compete, Vector Sigma shills a Transformers Prime Transformation Challenge app with a similar concept. Miyu wins and is declared commander of the Transformers Division. Explosive Transformation! Spacebridge Battle
Episode 6
The Transformers Division are dancing when they notice additional toys have appeared on their table, so they stop to do some more Micron-combining. After Miyu creates the Nebula Scythe and Ayano the Galaxy Launcher, they get curious about the energon crystals on the Microns. Vector Sigma explains that if all crystals in a Combo are the same color, it makes an extra powerful Super Combo, and again directs viewers to make some in the Arms Up game. Aerial Transformation! Skyquake
Episode 7
A malfunction in the base's air conditioner environmental preservation function has left the Division shuddering under a quilt, but they get out to do some more combining when the cold reminds Vector Sigma of the arctic-themed mission added to the Arms Up game this month. They create the Crushgize Nebula Scythe for Arcee and Shootgize Galaxy Launcher for Bulkhead before stopping to warm up through dancing, and Yuri makes up the nickname "Vec-chan" for Vector Sigma in the process. Freezing Transformation!? Terror of the Minicons
Episode 8
Yuri is acting like a samurai for the camera, but finds it hard to remain cool when the others bring out a pile of EZ Collection toys to show off and play with. After this goes on for a while, they realize Vector Sigma is remarkably quiet and call out for the computer, who admits to having been asleep. Secret Sword Transformation! Introducing Wheeljack
Episode 9
Ayano acts like Optimus Prime, and Hitomi and Miyu comment that Prime's always serious and would never tell a joke. Meanwhile Mei pushes some buttons on a console she found, causing the base's GroundBridge to open and rain gacha capsules all over the serious Ayano. These contain gacha Arms Microns Optimus Prime Blaster and Bumblebee Sword, which Vector Sigma explains were created from Optimus and Bumblebee's energon being fused with weapons. The girls combine them with other toys, showing that they work together with the main toyline. Reckless Transformation! Protect the Dingus!
Episode 10
It's time for a history lesson, and the division acts bored before revealing they actually find Transformers history interesting. Vector Sigma describes a selection of previous heroic commanders: Optimus Prime of The Transformers (whose toy is present), Optimus Primal of Beast Wars and Optimus Prime of Animated. All-Out Assault Transformation! The Pair of Assassins
Episode 11
The Transformers Division plays Transformers shiritori to decide who's on cleaning duty. Each contestant keeps creating a sentence that ends with "puraimu" (Prime) until Mei ends up saying "Mugatron" and losing. Acceleration Transformation! Speed Match!
Episode 12
The air conditioner is broken again and this time it's too hot, so the girls have a craving for ice cream. Their stock turns out to have melted except for one last popsicle, but Vector Sigma stops Miyu before she can bite into it: it's not a popsicle at all, but a Gari Robo-kun toy! After being amazed, they still argue over who gets to eat it, prompting Vector Sigma to warn viewers that it's definitely not edible. Mystery Insect Transformation! Forest of the Spider Woman!
Episode 13
While Miyu is out shopping, Ayano acts like Starscream and declares herself leader. Vector Sigma provides a description of Starscream's personality and abilities and announces that he can be fought in the latest mission of the Arms Up Mission Game. The division creates some combinations for that purpose: Vector Sigma disagrees with the use of the Energon Sniper as Starscream flies too fast to be sniped, but approves of the Sky Master Mode that would allow Optimus Prime to fly. Miyu then returns, and Ayano immediately backs down and pretends like nothing happened. Phantom Transformation! Mind-Diving
Episode 14
As Miyu and Ayano continue their Megatron/Starscream act and fight over a piece of melon bread, Vector Sigma recaps Megatron's story thus far. The other three discuss if they're on the Autobot or Decepticon side and settle for Autobots, then realize that if Miyu is Megatron, that makes them Decepticons... Counterattack Transformation! The Resurrection of Megatron!
Episode 15
The Transformers Division enjoys the show's new ending theme song, "A Little Bit", so much that they defy Vector Sigma's commands and use the GroundBridge to bring over the band responsible, CLUTCHO. After chatting with the idol group, the three members, Yuto, Shingo, and Shinichi, greet the viewers and advertise the release of the "A Little Bit" single. Phantom Transformation! Skyquake Returns
Episode 16
Miyu has taken to wearing a shiny chrome outfit to coincide with Megatron's revival, something represented by his new toy, Megatron Darkness. Hitomi, Yuri and Mei have a look at the toy and the many gimmicks of the new Hades Arms Micron. Surgical Transformation!? Imprison the Soldier of Destruction

Unravel the Sinister Thread!

Magnetic Tag Match
Episode 19
The Transformers Division GroundBridges to a Toys"R"Us in Ikebukuro's Sunshine city to check out Prime toys as well as the Cybertron Satellite promotion's Matrix display. Escape from the Underground
Episode 20
The next stop on the division's journey is Yodobashi Camera Multimedia in Akihabara, where they notice the presence of Akiba Prime in the Matrix display and promote the Cybertron Satellite Town Commanders. Episode 21
With summer vacation drawing to a close, the girls claim to display the Earth tradition of last-minute studying by practicing their duties as both Tokyo Girls' Style and the Transformers Division: Mei and Hitomi practice song and dance, Ayano and Yuri color Transformers for the "Original Transformer Award" contest, and Miyu watches Prime DVDs. Vector Sigma argues that none of this counts as studying. Friendship Transformation! My Bulkhead
Episode 22
After half a year as a Transformers Division member, Ayano believes she can finally transform the Optimus Prime toy perfectly within 3 minutes. Forbidden Transformation!? Ratchet's Strongest Legend?
Episode 23
Another dancing session is interrupted when Ayano opens a GroundBridge hoping to summon some sweets, only to end up pelting her friends with more gacha capsules. After Vector Sigma identifies the new toys as Megatron Cannon, Bulkhead Knuckle and Arcee Blade, the division gets to work attaching them to Optimus Prime. Vector Sigma tells Ayano to stop messing with the GroundBridge, and when she tries it again, a capsule hits her on the head. One-Shot Transformation! Optimus Prime VS Megatron
Episode 24
Vector Sigma and the Transformers Division take a look at the Gaia Unicron toy and its gimmicks, including its ability to split apart and become Gaia Armor for Megatron or Optimus. When the division members are impressed by the "wild" look of the armor, Vector Sigma tries to sound wild as well, but the computer's idea of a wild voice is so strange that the girls think it's malfunctioning. Giant God Transformation! The Advance of Gaia Unicron
Episode 25

Notes

  • Due to the addition of the two promo segments, as well as a considerably longer title sequence and end credits, each primary episode of Prime has had approximately three minutes of content removed for time constraints. These edits are mostly intuitive and unintrusive so as not to harm the coherency of the narrative.
