Quotes
"I've just never understood why in order for our kind to succeed, others must suffer."
"Oh, they don't have to suffer, Cyberwarp. That's just a happy bonus."
"You're taking too much pleasure in this, Cyclonus."
"And you're not taking enough."
- —Cyberwarp realizes Cyclonus might possibly not be the best boss.
"When I first came to Earth I wanted a planet. Any planet, to rule as a Decepticon homeworld. But, I've come to like this world. And if the High Council conquers Earth, I can't have it."
- —Steeljaw keeps his stuff here.
"Your High Council knows what is best. Optimus' time has passed. The galaxy is ours to shape."
- —Cyberwarp, High Council Member for Agitprop.
Notes
Continuity notes
- Nearly seventy Autobot profile images flash past as Optimus describes the 'bots who are wanted for associating with him. The list includes the obvious characters, like the cast of Robots in Disguise (Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Strongarm, Grimlock, Fixit, Drift, Jetstorm, Slipstream, Windblade and Jazz), his old Prime team (Ratchet, Bulkhead, Wheeljack, Arcee, Ultra Magnus, and Smokescreen), and the complete compliment of Rescue Bots (Heatwave, Chase, Blades, Boulder, High Tide, Blurr, Salvage, and Quickshadow).
- As for the many, many others, most of whom have not appeared in animated or cartoon form in the Aligned continuity family before now, and some who have never even appeared at all in an Aligned form before now! As of this writing, the lack of a full high-resolution version of the episode means not every character has been identified, and indeed, may not be identifiable even at the highest resolution because of how small their image is, but the aim seems to be to feature a complete roster of classic Autobot Cars and Mini Vehicles from 1984 through to 1986, with a few other famous classic characters thrown in. Identified 'bots include: Rodimus, Kup, Hoist, Hound, Jetfire, Sunstreaker, Perceptor, Swerve, Trailbreaker, Elita One, Firestar, Gears, Inferno, Ironhide, Tailgate, Mirage, Springer, Wreck-Gar, Windcharger, and Seaspray. Identified 'bots who are appearing for the first time in the aligned form include: Tracks, Red Alert, Pipes, and Skids.
- It is revealed that the reason the High Council is constantly oppressing Optimus Prime and his associates is because the High Council is run by extremely corrupt Autobots, even possibly Decepticons, perfectly explaining why they blame Optimus Prime for Cybertron's death: they still believe Megatron's lie that Prime did it, even though it was Megatron who killed the planet by corrupting the core with Dark Energon.
- We called it way back in "Decepticon Island (Part 1)", and we now get confirmation that Bumblebee's low status as a beat cop at the start of the series was due to the new Council's anti-Autobot attitude.
Prisoner manifest
- In stasis: Clampdown, Quillfire, Underbite, Thunderhoof.
- Held Prisoner: Wingcode
- Known at Large: Steeljaw (Aligned with Autobots).
- The Autobots have run out of stasis pods at this point in the series.
Transformers references
- Besides all the new G1-inspired charcters shown when the profile images fly by, there are also some references in the characters we have seen:
- Smokescreen is donning a new color scheme based off Generation 1 Smokescreen.
- In contrast to being an altered version of Cliffjumper as shown in Prime, Tailgate is shown having a MTMTE-inspired body style his Generation 1 counterpart employs. This could be an earlier version of his body.

Trivia
- The episode's title refers to the ancient proverb, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend".
