The Micronauts are a group of aliens from the Generation 1 continuity family

The Micronauts are a ragtag team of heroes from Microspace. Originally a small-time crew of smugglers aboard their ship, the Heliopolis, they found themselves drawn into a conflict with the evil Baron Karza. They are now stuck on a strange, mysterious world populated by giant creatures and even bigger machines.

The Micronauts originated in a distant part of the galaxy. King Acroyear led a group of warriors against Baron Karza. This group included Karza’s former comrades Space Glider and Celeste, as well as the Time Travelers, Microtron, and a Biotron. Synergy was a creation of the Micronauts. Unit:E

While Scarlett expressed her worry about what other forces could appear on Earth following Optimus Prime's activities, the Micronauts were in the middle of a battle. Secret Raiders

After flying into the entropy storm in an attempt to both save their universe and escape Baron Karza, the Micronauts were attacked by Reptos, a race of beings previously thought destroyed by the cloud. Before the Reptos could destroy the Heliopolis, the crew was saved by the mysterious Time Traveller.

Several days into their journey, Microtron scanned the surrounding area looking for something to fuel the Heliopolis, detecting something "big". The Micronauts then received a message from Baron Karza. Karma told them that though it has only been a few days for them inside the storm, years had passed in Microspace. Microtron then informed Oz that he discovered the source of the energy he detected, as well as the source of Karza's signal. Oz struggled to comprehend and Karza explained that "it" was the birthplace of Microspace: the body of Micronus Prime. Micronauts: Revolution Travelling further through the Entropy Cloud, Karza explained that Micronus was a gateway to another universe, which held the key to saving Microspace. Hoping but uncertain that Karza was telling the truth, they went forward. As the bridge awoke, a Time Traveler appeared, letting Oziron know that the fate of their universe was in his hands, not those of Karza or his allies.

Due to outside forces, the Heliopolis was assaulted by shards of Ore-13, which the Micronauts believed to be Karza's intentions. After a moment, and assurance from the time traveler, Oz pushed onward through the Spacebridge. Confused by their metal surroundings, they felt once again betrayed upon encountering a giant Karza robot. O Ship of State It attacked, which prompted Acroyear to leap from the ship and attack the 'robot', only to to be confronted by the scale of their situation as a second robot attacked. The three sword-wielders attacked each other, only to be forced to a conclusion by another new arrival. The rest of the Micronauts were eventually noticed and Rom realises there is life on Micronus, regretting his earlier actions. Attempting to apologise, all the Micronauts could interpret was his serious demeanor.

When Miles Mayhem led an attack on Autobot City, the Micronauts joined the battle alongside the Autobots, Snake Eyes and Rom. Unable to warn the 'giants', they watched in horror as Baron Karza Enerchanged with the Dire Wraiths. The New Colossus The Micronauts and their allies turned their focus onto Karza, who Oz figured must have a way to save Microspace if he has come to this universe, but that he did not care of the consequences to this new planet. Just as Windblade realised the Microspace inhabitants spoke Old Cybertronian, allies were divided with the arrival of M.A.S.K. and Snake Eye's subsequent change of allegiance. Still the Micronauts fought on, with Acroyear quickly attacking both Matt Trakker#IDW_Generation_1_continuity and Snake Eyes before Optimus Prime scooped him, ROM and Snake Eyes up. With the arrival of G.I. Joe all were one again. The Micronauts, finally finding someone who spoke the language, formed a plan with Soundwave, Rom, Matt and Mainframe to reprogram and enerchange with the Spacebridge, stopping Karza. This cut them off from Microspace, but they vowed to save their universe without Karza. In the mayhem of the resulting explosion, their new allies believed the Micronauts dead and had allowed them to be scooped up by an organisation, where they were due for Vivisection. Valley Forge

Having escaped this and other predicaments, the Micronauts tried to avoid capture from Kup and Mayday at the Pacific Science Center in Washington, unsure of their intents. Garrison Blackrock knocked their craft out the sky, bringing them to realise that they had misjudged their hostility. Scooped up by Kup and Blackrock, the former tried the universal greeting to close the language gap, impressing Biotron. Blackrock projects The Talisman, which Larissa recognises with shock, though neither group knows what it is. Oz wonders whether it is a way home and whether they could enerchange with it.

Using the Micronauts sensors, they arrive at an abandoned Cobra Moon base. Kup smashes his way in, with the Micronauts finding both the Talisman and Action Man at two separate sources of Ore-13, only to be swatted out the sky by Storm Shadow. Larissa manages to enerchange with the Talisman, raising the device and effecting the nearby Ore-13 in a similar way to Karza's previous attempts to transport it. Blackrock lifted The Talisman, Larissa and Acroyear out the base before it exploded, with Kup narrowly rescuing the rest. Larissa noted she did not have full control over the device and that it would take years to understand the capabilities of it, before her awe is cut off by a wary Mayday. Enter the Shadow

Revolution

If they were meant to be humans, they'd be better scaled to Jetfire than the human characters.
