- Side Burn is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy.
Though he prides himself on his abilities as an infiltrator and spy, Side Burn may very well be in over his head this time. When the Autobots found out the Decepticon Predacon had begun a cult focused on the grafting of biological tissues to Cybertronic bodies to enhance their combat abilities, Side Burn stepped up to the plate to make his way into the organization. He wasn't prepared for the sheer amount of zeal he found within, and is worried that this is one assignment he might not return from. His position at Predacon's right hand gives him more insight than he could have hoped, and it scares him. It also makes him a target for the jealousy of Predacon's other partner, the fanatical Mini-Con Skid-Z.
Side Burn's skills are impressive, being crafty in both speech and movement. He's not much of a fighter, but one very good runner. He fears he's going to need every trick he knows and a lot of luck the day he discovers Predacon's true goals... or the day Predacon finds out Side Burn's true purpose.

Armada
- Predacon w/ Side Burn & Skid-Z (Max-Con, 2003)
- A redeco of the Street Speed Mini-Con Team member Backtrack, Side Burn transforms into a Cadillac XLR luxury car. His car mode wheels are designed to allow for much faster rolling on smooth surfaces. He and Skid-Z were only available as pack-ins with the Decepticon Predacon.
- The same mold is used by Redline, while a retooled version is used by Dice. The mold was slated to be released as Override in Energon, but was ultimately cancelled.
