Real Gear Robot are a type of Transformer in the Movie continuity family.

Real Gear Robot is a catchall term for Earth machinery brought to life by the Allspark. The term originates with the Real Gear Robots sub-line of the Movie toyline, which dealt with Transformers created from consumer electronics brought to life in this manner, and (for lack of an alternative) is used to refer to all robots created in this manner.

Though RGR toys refer to the (brief) appearance of Real Gear Robots in the movie, many Read Gear Robots appear to predate the March 16 2006 cessation of experiments on the Allspark.[1] It is unclear if they were deliberately created by Sector 7 and escaped, or perhaps an unintended result of the Allspark's area-affect.

When first brought to life Real Gear robots appear to be almost mindless; alive but without concept of the world, and often feral. Time with remedy this weakness.
