Transformers: BotBots (toyline)

Don't eat the ones that turn into food, or you'll get botbotulism!

Transformers: BotBots is a toyline set for release in late 2018, involving small super-deformed characters who transform into mundane items.

Overview

Each figure in the line belongs to one of several sub-factions organized by their choice of alternate mode; each toy can either be purchased individually in a blind bag, or the entire "tribe" can be purchased in packs of five to eight figures. "Series 1" will feature 61 brand-new characters.

If ever there was a time to give us a new toy of Ejector, Hasbro, this is it.

• All of the characters introduced thus far are entirely new, separate from any traditional "Generation 1" characters: a rarity in today's Transformers toy market.
• It's not yet clear if any of the characters are traditional Autobots or Decepticons, or if the toyline will adhere to the usual factions.
