Gigastorm seizes the chance to kill his brother, but overplays his hand.
Synopsis

Nemesis nears the sixth planet in Gaia's star system, and its proximity influences the Angolmois Energy on Gaia, where it is currently being collected by the Predacons. Gigastorm boards the Galvaburg II (using the ship's elemental particle control beam to shrink to an appropriate size), while Starscream and BB discuss the Autorollers' work in Angolmois Energy procurement and immediately divert the energy to Galvatron, so that Gigastorm's reign as acting leader can be put to an end. In his chambers, the Predacon leader stirs, much to his brother's chagrin, and Gigastorm picks up a chainsaw...
At the Yukikaze, the Lio Convoy and Apache confer with the newest arrivals, Santon and Skywarp, about the current activity of the planet's Angolmois Energy and their recent encounter with Nemesis. Outside, the remaining Maximals ooh and ahh over Scuba's newest toy, the Tako Tank, but before the Maximals can play with it, Lio Junior winces in pain, alerting him to the presence of evil Angolmois Energy in the proximity, and they all run off to investigate.

In the Galvaburg II, Gigastorm's attempts at chopping up his brother are for naught, as the Emperor of Destruction's body proves too tough. Starscream walks into the room and Gigastorm offers up the feeble explanation that he was trying to "dismantle" him to find the cause for his condition. Starscream rebukes Gigastorm's lack of surgical finessee, so he switches to "waking" up Galvatron with a lethal electrical current. BB struggles with the large Predacon, and Gigastorm simply ends up shocking himself. They are interrupted when the Autorollers alert them that the maximum permissible amount of Angolmois Energy has been sent, and Gigastorm attempts to stop BB from shutting off the flow to Galvatron, again justifying it as an attempt to wake up his brother. He succeeds in intensifying the flow and Galvatron seemingly explodes! But the Predacon leader reveals himself to be perfectly fine, crediting the recent surge in evil Angolmois Energy for reviving him. Starscream tries to rat out Gigastorm, but Galvatron is simply happy to see his younger brother in a more powerful form.

Outside, the Maximals have made it to the Angolmois Energy that Lio Junior detected, and it turns out to be the Autorollers' operation. Gigastorm sets out to attack the Maximals, but Galvatron establishes his authority and tells him to remain while sending a command signal to his Nemesis, an act which the observing Artemis and Moon can only speculate on. With all of the Maximals, Lio Convoy included, in the facility, Galvatron has them locked inside. After draining the sixth planet's rings, Nemesis sends out a signal that ignites the Angolmois Energy in the facility, making it explode and destroy the base. The surviving but weakened Maximals are immediately set upon by the Predacons, and Galvatron faces off with Lio Convoy. Gigastorm seizes the opportunity and snipes at his older brother with his Head Missiles. Finally recognizing his younger brother's treason, Galvatron confronts Gigastorm and the two brothers face off. The Maximals, meanwhile, drive off the other Predacons with the Tako Tank and Magnaboss's power. with Gigastorm winning the contest of strength with his massive size, Galvatron activates the elemental particle control beam from the Galvaburg II to shrink down his opponent and threatens to tear him apart. But Lio Convoy comes to the rescue by attacking the distracted Galvatron, and the Predacon commands a retreat. He acknowledges that the evil Angolmois Energy is making everybody on Gaia more violent, but swears he will still win the war with its power.

On the battlefield, the Maximals gather and ponder on the power of Nemesis and its hastening approach...
Artemis & Moon II Report
The unnerved Artemis and Moon discuss the approaching Nemesis, bemoaning their lack of knowledge on the artificial planet. One thing they do know is that it has tremendous power, and other thing they know is that its entrance into the Solar System has been a portent of strange events—the birth of the Maximal Lio Junior, the increased activity of Gaia's Angolmois Energy, and Megastorm's rebirth into Gigastorm. Galvatron has also been revived, a fact that delights Artemis as a fan. Nemesis continues its approach unabated, and Moon fears for the future.
