G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers: The Art of War

The Art of War is a five-issue miniseries published by Devil's Due Press in 2006. It is a sequel to their previous two G.I. Joe crossovers, set in the same crossover continuity.

Overview
After the deactivation of Megatron and the catastrophic time traveling events on Cybertron, the Autobots have made serious progress against the Decepticons. However, a Cobra attack against G.I. Joe's base on Earth alters the balance of the war by unleashing Serpent O.R., an artificial super-soldier who proves to be nigh-unstoppable, and is imbued not only with the knowledge of past Earthly leaders, but the personality of Megatron himself! He soon travels to Cybertron and re-unites the scattered Decepticons into a force to be reckoned with once more.
Creative team
The series was penned by experienced G.I. Joe writer Tim Seeley with art by Joe Ng, Alex Milne, and James Raiz.
Hachette's Transformers: The Definitive G1 Collection reprint for this series contains pencil work of the first 8 pages by Don Figueroa, indicating he was the original artist, but for some reason left the project.
Notes
Each issue had at least two variant covers offered in equal ratio; all of the "A" covers could connect to form a single image. Also available for purchase, at conventions and online, were a series of UDON-exclusive covers that could form a single image.
