35 East Wacker

The 35 East Wacker is a building from the live-action film continuity family.

The 35 East Wacker (AKA the Jewelers' Building) is a tall cupola'd building in Illinois, Chicago. At some point in the 21th Century, it was bought by Hotchkiss Gould Investments, an company whose CEO is the leader of all the humans who work for the Decepticons.

Dark of the Moon film

Upon arriving at Chicago with the Space bridge Pillars, Dylan explained to Carly Spencer the Decepticons' plan about bringing Cybertron to Earth's atmosphere, Megatron then ordered all of them to leave, and they obliged. After exiting the building and the local authorities made their move, Sentinel Prime ordered them to seal off the city. Later Carly observed Megatron and Sentinel through a telescope. Megatron was at the top of the building when Dylan approached it to inform that the Autobots are still alive and Megatron ordered the Decepticons to find them. Sam Witwicky, Carly and Epps used a mini-drone dispatched by the United States military to contact the US government and told everything about their plans, including that the tower where the pillars are located belongs to the company of the human who's behind all this. Later Epps and his team tried to destroy the control pillar by firing a missile from another skyscraper, but the Driller crashed it down. Sentinel was standing on the tower and ordered all the Decepticons all over the world to launch the pillars. Later when the Autobots are captured, Sentinel activate the control pillar and teleport Cybertron to Earth. Optimus Prime uses Shockwave's corpse's arm cannon to destroy the cupola where the space bridge's control pillar is, causing it to topple over and deactivating the bridge, Sentinel then used the Primax Blade in its dual-bladed configuration to slow his descent, by sticking it into the side of the building. Notes

• In the movie and all of it's adaptations, 35 East Wacker is never mentioned by name.
• In the Dark of the Moon novel, Sentinel knocked Megatron off the building. Which explains how Megatron got down on the bottom of the building so that Carly could stumble across with the Decepticon leader.
