One Ring Matrix To Rule Them All

The mysterious Silver Matrix (シルバーマトリクス Shirubā Matorikusu) is perhaps the most powerful artifact in the universe of the Primus Vanguard. Possessed of the unique ability to absorb the Star Power of the other matrices of the Seven Lights, it was bestowed by Primus himself on the extradimensional warrior Star Convoy.

Analysis by leading experts indicates whosoever can manage to fill it completely could destroy the universe itself and harness the life force of the world to follow.

One Matrix To Find Them
One Matrix To Bring Them All

The Vok of the next universe set loose a Novaroid swarm on the Blue Planet as part of their efforts to alter the timeline. Super Megatron comic 2 In response, Primus plucked Optimus Prime and Galvatron from 2011 of the G1 World into orbit, gifted Optimus the mysterious Silver Matrix and tasked them with sorting the problem. Optimus absorbed the Star Power to upgrade himself into Star Convoy and made short work of the Novaroids by combining the Silver Matrix with his ion blaster to create the Big Bang Cannon. Star Convoy comic Primus then cryptically directed him to collect "Star Power" in the Silver Matrix to save "their collective future". Seacons comic 2

The two were subsequently intercepted by the photon sailer of the twin Seacons, and Star Convoy got the stuffing beaten out of him by an Angolmois-juiced King Poseidon seeking to claim the Silver Matrix for his own all the way down to the surface. Seacons comic 5

Just as it looked like curtains for Star Convoy, King Poseidon was exploded by none other than an upgraded Super Megatron, fresh from crashing the pirates' ship. Super Megatron greeted his old enemy with his own demand for the Silver Matrix that he could gain yet further power. Star naturally declined and a well choreographed scuffle ensued until they reached a nearby city and Megatron threatened to eat a pair of Beast People. An ashen Star Convoy complied and Super Megatron bonded with the Silver Matrix to become Ultra Megatron!!! Super Megatron comic 1

Just as it looked like curtains for Optimus (again), he was rescued from Ultra Megatron's ultra attack by none other than Blue Big Convoy as the Blue Order rendezvoused with their guests. Blue healed Optimus's wounds as his troops kept Megatron occupied. Just as things were looking up, Blue made the no good very bad decision to parry Ultra Megatron's Silver Matrix attack with his own α Matrix, allowing the Silver Matrix to absorb its Blue Star Power and evolve Megatron even further into Ultra Megatron Omega! Super Megatron comic 2

And In The Angolmois Bind Them

The Silver Matrix was next sighted when Megatron Omega, victorious in a three way brawl between his own forces, God Neptune, and the commanders of the Primus Vanguard over the remaining Matrices of Star Power, attempted to absorb the energies of the Matrix Saber, Creation Matrix, Matrix Buster, Matrix Gauntlet and Black Legendisc into the Silver Matrix, only to find his head smashed in with the Neptune Sword by a vengeful Halfshell. Halfshell took the Star Power for himself, reforming God Neptune and cleaving Megatron in half.

He got better. God Neptune comic 2

Untold eons later in the year 2050 of the subsequent universe, the Powered Masters succeeded in assembling the energies of the Zodiac into a single vessel, only to see it congeal into the shape of a Silver Matrix. As if on cue, they were attacked and the Silver Matrix was claimed by none other than Primus himself and his Golden Age! Abominus comic 2

Selects

We wants it. We needs it. Must have the shiny. They stole it from us. Sneaky little Megatronses. Wicked. Tricksy. False.
  • Star Convoy (September 28, 2019)
    • Accessories: trailer/evolution armor, ion-blaster (formed by two blasters), Silver Matrix
The Generations Selects Star Convoy retool of Power of the Primes Optimus Prime included a compatible Silver Matrix, with the entire accessory dipped in chrome. This matrix does not split into two pieces nor contain a Prime Master like some of its Power of the Primes brethren. The Silver Matrix has a 5 mm post on the bottom and a 5mm hole on top, meant to allow the figure's two guns to combine with it into the "Big Bang Cannon." The post also makes it wieldable by figures with 5mm fist holes for "Matrix Hammer" attacks, as seen in the Generations Selects comic. While the core and frame aren't interchangeable the Silver Matrix can be put in the chests of other Power of the Primes leader class figures.
