The α Matrix (α (アルファ)マトリクス Arufa Matorikusu), also known as the Blue Matrix (ブルーマトリクス Burū Matorikusu), is the Matrix containing Blue Star Power entrusted to the leader of the Blue Order of the Primus Vanguard. In times of conflict, it is placed in the hilt of the Matrix Sword to create a blade of overwhelming power.

Upon his death, Blue Brightes Convoy bequeathed the α Matrix and Matrix Sword to Big, declaring him his successor, Blue Big Convoy. Finale 1 Blue used the energies of the α Matrix to fend off Specters and combined it with the Matrix Sword to create a beacon for the rest of the Blue Order in the battle's aftermath. Blue Big Convoy comic When Optimus Prime battled Ultra Megatron on the Blue Planet, Blue appeared to support Star Convoy and gave him the α Matrix to heal his wounds. Blue quickly took his Matrix back so that he could use it to directly parry Megatron's Silver Matrix. However, the clash allowed Megatron to absorb the α Matrix's blue Star Power, transforming him into Ultra Megatron Omega. Super Megatron comic 2 Megatron took the Blue Matrix for himself, and the Blue Order was destroyed from within by Straxus's invasive program. God Neptune comic 1
