BotBots cartoon

After Dave was fired from his position as the night security guard at the mall, the three security bots were brought in to replace him. When they encountered the Lost Bots celebrating with no humans to hide from, the security bots identified them as vermin. The security bots then almost taking off Burgertron's head off with a laser blast, causing the Lost Bots to flee. The security bots then scoured the rest of the mall, blasting away at the BotBots, causing them to flee in terror.

Each of the various squads then attempted to disable the security bots. First the Jock Squad knocked the security bots down by being fired from a baseball launcher. The security bots quickly righted themselves and continued their patrol. The Gamer Geeks then tried to rewire them, but the security bots activated electric countermeasures and sent them flying. The Lost Bots decided to investigate the security bot's manual to see if they could find a weakness and discovered that the mall's master mall security code could shut them down. They realized Dave would know the code. They asked Ring-A-Ling to call Dave's mom and spoke with him. Posing as "Mr. Mallworker Fleshguy, Esquire" they told him to come to the mall that night to pick up his "donut of service". Dave then hung up and the Lost Bots assumed they're plan failed.

"Do not make any sudden moves."

Spud Muffin and the Hunger Hubs then tried their plan. They released a bunch of shopping carts suspended from the ceiling sending them to crash them into the security bots, sending them flying into the fountain. The security bots appeared to be shorted out, but quickly recovered jumping out of the fountain in their emergency defense mode, sprayed lasers at the gathered BotBots who scrambled for cover. Arriving at that moment to attend the "donut of service" ceremony, Dave witnessed the damage the security bots were doing to the mall and decided it was his civilian duty to stop them. After initially confronting the security bots and almost being blasted, Dave realized that by standing absolutely he was invisible to the rampaging robots. Using his years of well honed living statue training to get close, he jumped on one of the security bots and entered the mall's master security code, shutting them all down.

Thanks to a mysterious video being sent to his boss, Dave was rehired as the night security guard, leading the security robots to no longer being used. Shopping Brawl

  • The security bots are a direct homage to the three Protector robots from the 80s horror movie Chopping Mall (aka Killbots). They feature a similar overall design with tank tread, and laser blasting visor. They even use the main catchphrase the Protector units give after attacking, "Have a nice day".
  • A unique icon appears on the map appears as the security bots roam the mall an chasing the BotBots.
