With both sides now in possession of at least one Artifact of the Primes, they and the Sentius Twins begin to formulate a plan for dealing with the threats on the horizon.
Synopsis
[edit]Part 1
[edit]The Sentius Twins discuss the recent developments, with Sentius Malus pointing out that there are now a total of four different Star Sabers involved in the Earth Wars, as well as the Skyboom Shield. In addition, all they need now is a Requiem Blaster to have a complete set of Primal Era weaponry. They realize that a prophecy dating back to the establishment of the Primal Basilica at the dawn of time, which foretold the coming of a second Age of Primes, was now on the horizon of fulfillment, and has been since the reappearance of Nova and Vector Prime. Sentius Magnus reminds his brother that, as Primus' heralds, it is up to them to ensure the transition is smooth, but he offers an alternative route of stopping it from reaching its fruition, citing a newfound liking for this universe (and a need for self-preservation). The twins agree that, especially if the Entity is about to join in on the action, it is imperative that they get involved as well.
Elsewhere, on frigid Devon Island, Skids finishes catching his Optimus Prime up on what occured during the mission. When he finishes, Prime orders him to have the Earthforce return to Autobot HQ.
Part 2
[edit]At the Terrorcon camp, Armada Megatron, Wheeljack, Demolishor, and the components of the Dark Saber meet to discuss the former three's acquisition of the latter. Wheeljack glumly informs his leader that the Dark Saber and Skyboom they currently possess may, unfortunately, not be enough to protect them from the Entity. Jackknife assures them that he and his teammates had a very clear view of Cyber-City's dismemberment from their fleeing escape pod, and he is indeed who they think he is. Skull Buster comes to the same realization as the Sentius Twins, but Jackknife finds solace in the fact that they have a decent supply of Primal weapons in stock for the coming events. Maverick adds that they're just missing a Requiem Blaster now to complete the trinity, while Demolishor reminds them that the destruction of the last Cyber-City fragment has bought them some extra time and ensured that they will be notified when the Entity arrives since he'll now have to open a new portal to enter this universe. Megatron circles back to the Requiem Blaster and asks Wheeljack if it was aboard Cyber-City, to which he confirms that it was. Unfortunately, he doesn't know if it ended up in this universe, theirs, the space in between, or, as Jackknife suggests, in the Entity's hands. The group decide to start by asking the Skyboom's components where to begin searching, as there is a connection between all of the weapons.

Gameplay
[edit]This event was an Alliance event, meaning players were to unlock points with their Alliance, all of which went towards unlocking various prizes. The top prize was 250 Prime Core Chip shards, and due to the event having 20 prestiges, they could be earned multiple times.
Notes
[edit]- The news articles for this event's dialogues were titled "Age of Primes - Redux," though this expanded name was not used for the actual event name, hence its relegation to being mentioned as a note here.
Continuity notes
[edit]- Megatron and the Sentius Twins collectively reference every Prime-related event that's happened in this game's story in past year and a half or so: the reappearances of the Star and Dark Star Sabers in the "Steel Explosion" saga, Vector and Nova Prime (two of the Thirteen) in "Timeless Champions," the Forge of Solus Prime in "The Reckoning," and now the Armada Universe Mini-Con weapons in this saga and the previous one.
Transformers reference
[edit]- The Sentius Twins say that they'll be looking at "less Age of Primes and more Dark Ages" if the Entity is who they think it is, further hinting at his true identity being Megatronus Prime, who was the main antagonist of that comic.
Trivia
[edit]- When the Sentius Twins mention the Star Sabers, the word "Saber" is spelled using its British "Sabre" spelling, while it is spelled the American way when mentioned by anyone else. As it's evidently meant to be an intentional writing choice on Simon Furman's part (presumably to show the Sentius Twins' higher standing compared to the rest of the cast), we don't consider this an error.
