At their Primal Basilica, Autobot command considers their options. Meanwhile, Quake brings Luca to Soundwave.
Synopsis
[edit]Part 1
[edit]Melody Keen, Optimus Prime, and the rest of the Autobot top brass discuss what to do if the Forge of Solus Prime chooses Luca instead of her. They then turn their attention to the Requiem Blaster and attempt to formulate a plan to defend themselves from it. They lament their lack of the Forge, which could create something to protect them, as Metalhawk is unsure about if his Star Sabre could deflect a shot from the weapon. While talking about the Forge, Melody notes that using it came naturally to her; Optimus calls it a testament to how important she is in the Earth Wars, but Melody reminds them that Luca. Optimus tells her that Solus' next appearance will signal that it's time for the Forge to make its choice.
Part 2
[edit]Quake takes Luca to Megatron, with his hostage figuring out on the way that he's wanted for his talents with the Forge of Solus Prime. They meet up with Soundwave, who cuts to the chase and asks where the Forge is. Luca tells him what he was told by its creator, prompting the bot to express disappointment in the fact that its next wielder will be a human. Quake and Soundwave agree that they'll kill Luca if it turns out not to be him, making the usually-incredibly-cocky and confident human a little nervous.

Gameplay
[edit]This event was an individual totaliser, meaning players earned points and unlocked prizes on their own as opposed to with their Alliance.
The top prize was a single Shard Crystal, and due to the event having 50 prestiges, they could be earned multiple times.
Notes
[edit]- This event and most of its surrounding saga were subject to a hiccup in production whereby their story component went un-aired until being backfilled post-facto in a marathon "recap" included with the event "Guardian Devil".
Continuity notes
[edit]- Solus Prime previously established that her Forge would decide its leader in "Solus Arising".
- Quake kidnapped Luca in "Solus Arising" after receiving orders to do so in "Lines of Communication".
Errors
[edit]- When Soundwave tells Luca to "Speak... or hold your peace", "or" is misspelled as "for".
- When Quake asks if he gets to squish Luca if the Forge chooses Melody, his sentence ends in a period instead of a question mark.
