Notes
Continuity notes
- The first three pages retell Unicron's attack on Cybertron at the climax of Beast Wars Neo.
- Heinrad wearing a cloak might be a callback to his clothing in "Controverse".
- The bio for MP-48+ Dark Amber Leo Prime revived the concept of "Prime Leaders" (based on a throwaway line of dialogue from Beast Wars) to explain Lio Convoy's switch to the name "Leo Prime" for the Japanese release of Transformers: Prime in line with Hasbro name style.
- Leo Prime's friendship with Lio Convoy and Lio Junior in the Legends World was depicted in Leo Prime's pack-in Legends chapter. He said goodbye to them in the Legends epilogue.
- Bluebolt started out as God Magnus's non-living weapon in Car Robots before being given an independent body and mind in End of G1 Universe in advance of receiving a new toy with HasLab Omega Prime.
- Ope comes from Hydra's self-titled spotlight episode.
- Lawbhammer was introduced in God Neptune's online tie-in comic for Generations Selects.
The Fallen recalls his attack on Cybertron in "Train Wars".
- The concluding "next time" caption blurb says the events of Velocitron Speedia 500 are next.
Transformers references
- Great Lio Convoy's cloak seems to be based on his Furai Model kit design from Flame Toys.
- Incidentally, Lio Convoy's reorganization of the Cybertron and Destron factions into one "Maximal" race-faction is similar to the 2006 IDW Beast Wars comic continuity, wherein "Cybertron" was a (failed) attempt to unify the Maximals and Predacons into one race-faction, with the "Destrons" as a reactionary rebellion.
- Two moons appear orbiting Cybertron. Given the destruction of Moonbase One and Moonbase Two in The Transformers: The Movie, might these be Moonbase 3 and Moon Base Four pioneered by other continuities?
- The Quantum Gate is based on the Quantum Dial accessory included with Canon/Transformers Refraktor R5.
- Megatronus's AllSpark is the accessory included with Canon/Transformers Nemesis Prime R5.
Other notes
- The title of this chapter obviously ties in with the Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline.
