Lawbhammer is a Predacon-allied Seacon from the Japanese Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Lawbhammer (ロウブハンマー Rōbuhanmā) is the newest member of the Space Pirate Seacons, capable of forming God Neptune's left leg should Scylla be absent.

While on the hunt for proton energy, the Seacons were betrayed by Duncan. Left for dead and adrift in space, Halfshell, the only one still conscious, was approached by an envoy of the Golden Age, working for Primus, who offered to revive the crew if they played part in Primus's grand plan. To ensure the Seacons' compliance, the envoy took Lawbhammer hostage, picking him just because Halfshell happened to be cradling him at the time. God Neptune comic 2

In actuality, Lawbhammer was upgraded and brainwashed by the Golden Age to serve Primus's interests. When God Neptune, empowered with five different forms of Star Power, fought against the Megatron Omega/Purple Wicked Convoy alliance in the Precursor World, Lawbhammer appeared to block against a joint attack from the two. Just as suddenly, the Seacon excised Scylla from God Neptune and took her place in the combiner, controlling the gestalt from within. When Primus arrived with his "entourage" on Neo Primus, the leader of the Golden Age had Lawbhammer transfer all of God Neptune's Star Power to the Neptune Sword and hand it over. The sword was used to kill Purple Convoy and take his Purple Star Power, allowing Primus to gather all of the energies he needed to trigger the rebirth of the universe. Finale Prelude Primus's spell over Lawbhammer was eventually broken, though, and Lawbhammer restored control of God Neptune to Halfshell, working as part of the crew again. Finale

  • The Generation 1 Lobclaw/Nautilator mold was never released as part of the Beast Wars II Seacon team. Lawbhammer is a virtual recolouring created to fill the gap 22 years after the fact.
  • So what is "lawb"? It is this wiki's way of Romanizing ロウブ (rōbu), which is a portmanteau of ロブ (robu) and ロウ (rō). These represent four of the five characters of Lobclaw's name in Japanese (ロブクロウ Robukurō) and so any conversion to Latin script should be a portmanteau of "lob" and "law". As such, an alternative rendition is "Lowb". The full name "Lawbhammer" itself seems to be a pun on "claw hammer" (クローハンマー kurōhanmā).
