Crasher is a Decepticon from the Generation 1 continuity family.
It's hard to apply lipstick to a facemask.

Crasher is a tough-talking, tenacious Decepticon who arose from the brutal gladiatorial matches held on pre-war Cybertron. Her willingness to pick fights and settle scores made her an early convert to Megatron's straightforward philosophy of "peace through tyranny", and her faith in this cause makes Crasher an ideal foot soldier—unfortunately, her bravado makes her hotheaded and stubborn, which can sometimes land her in situations she can't just fight her way out of.

Crasher fought as one of the gladiators with Megatron in the Forge, appearing to be part of Clench's inner circle. Megatron Origin #2 Later she joined Megatron's team in the arena and in the subsequent Decepticon rebellion. Megatron Origin #4

Crasher used to be a gladiator until Sentinel Prime shut down the arenas. Hunt Seeking change by any means necessary, Crasher fell in with the violent terrorist group known as The Rise, and later returned to the public eye under a pretense of legitimacy when Megatron expanded the ranks of the Ascenticon Guard. All Fall Down Once Megatron's newly minted Decepticons captured the Senate, Crasher and Refraktor stood guard outside the building until Ironhide, Groove, and Backstreet ran them over. Prime

Crasher led a patrol of the conquered Iacon and listened to Battleslash and Roadtrap discussing the rumors that Sixshot would take over the Decepticon Guard. Awakenings Later, Crasher stood guard outside Decepticon Headquarters when Cyclonus confronted her. Despite Crasher's bravado, the veteran soldier easily knocked her unconscious and stole her weapons. Hunt

Crasher later took part in an exhibition match at Swindle's casino and easily trounced her opponent Tentakil. Swindle's II Not long afterwards, she was one of the many active Decepticons deployed to the Sea of Rust to seize the Enigma of Combination from Termagax. For their next battlefield engagement, Crasher joined the Decepticon army under Strika for the siege of Crystal City. Crasher was repurposed from Fracture in Friendship in Disguise! issue #4.
A Walmart exclusive redeco of Classics Mirage, Transformers Fracture transforms into a closed-canopy Formula racer concept car. The front aerofoil detaches to become a (non-firing) handheld weapon. The original light-piping features of the mold have been disabled by the paint applications on the figure's eyes.
She is extensively painted to resemble the GoBots character Crasher, right down to the pink face and black "domino mask" she sported in the GoBots cartoon. The tampographed Decepticon insignia on the figure features the original design, rather than the slightly streamlined look of the movie faction insignia, owing to the original intent to have her be a Classics version of Crasher. Her car's deco is inspired by the real world [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Midland M16|{{#if:||Midland M16}}]].<ref>"DECEPTICON FRACTURE was inspired by the female Gobot Crasher, but the name was changed to DECEPTICON FRACTURE when Crasher was unavailable for use. This toy also doubles as the "Cataclysm universe" incarnation of GoBots Crasher. This mold was also used to make the 2008 Universe version of Drag Strip.
Anyone looking to buy this figure on the aftermarket be warned, there is a very convincing-looking knockoff that's been making the rounds since at least 2010.

Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection "Decepticon Crasher" is a redeco of the Kingdom version of Mirage, transforming into a generic "Formula 1" style race car. While her body is the Kingdom Mirage, she uses the original-toy-inspired head of the Siege Holo Mirage toy. Similarly, her deco hybridizes elements of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon model for Crasher and the 2008 Fracture figure (above). She retains the same accessories.
In both modes, she has a number of 5 mm post-holes and 3 mm pegs for use with the "C.O.M.B.A.T. System" for attaching accessories and blast effects.
Notably, despite originating as a GoBots character, the character doesn't display "GoBots Universe" terminology on the packaging, likely due to the weird ownership situation regarding the franchise. Instead, the product description refers to Crasher as having a "G2-inspired design" and that the toy is "inspired by the character's appearance in the Transformers comics."
The Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection was exclusive to Walmart in the US, (albeit in very limited quantities, so good luck) with Hasbro Pulse receiving limited quantities of the figure. Later in 2023, American collectors were likely to see her in the biggest quantities in Ross stores. The series was a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive in Japan, and a K-Mart store exclusive in New Zealand.

By popular demand, the Legacy Crasher figure above was later reissued at standard retail as part of the second wave of Age of the Primes Deluxe Class figures, notably two waves and over half a year after the final wave of Legacy reissued a number of other hard-to-get figures.
Outside of the new packaging, which notably uses new art of Crasher and her alt-mode to better fit in with the line's packaging design, this release remains unchanged from the original.

  • Crasher is based on the GoBots Renegade character Crasher. Notably, her appearances in the 2005 and 2019 IDW continuities give her a visor and mouthplate so that she resembles her original GoBots toy unlike her cartoon counterpart, who sported a more humanized visage.
  • The live-action movie-verse character Fracture is Crasher according to Hasbro, but the name didn't clear legal. She was originally developed to be in the 2008 Universe series, but she and a few other redecos were shuffled into being Wal-Mart exclusive movie-verse characters. More than a decade later, things came full circle when the final issue of the My Little Pony/Transformers: Friendship in Disguise! crossover featured Crasher making a one-panel cameo using a body based on Fracture's toy.
  • At some point, Crasher was slated to appear in Friendship in Disguise! #3 as the antagonist of the second story. In the final version of the comic, she was replaced by Misfire, but the solicits for the comic were not changed to reflect this—it is likely that her otherwise inexplicable one-panel cameo in "Finale" is a remnant of this scrapped draft.<ref>My Little Pony/Transformers issue #3 solicit on Previewsworld
