KB Toys

KB Toys (Kay Bee Toys prior to 1981) is^(Feb-06-09) (for the moment) a toy store chain operating in in the United States of America and its attached territories. It is the second largest toy retailer in the United States, behind Toys "R" Us. Unlike its primary competitor, Kay Bee Toys outlets are primarily located in shopping malls

They are currently enmeshed in bankruptcy proceedings, and are expected to close all stores and officially cease to exist sometime in 2009.

The 1997 Machine Wars toyline was exclusive to KB Toys.
