Non-sequitor-- I remember reading a news-blurb circa ROTF's threater debut about a new TF2007 special-edition DVD that included a code to view the IMAX scenes online. Does this ring a bell for anyone else? -Derik 10:32, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

I think I heard that, but I have no idea if it is true. Might also be a US-only thing. Previously TF2007 DVDs at Walmart let you view making-of videos of ROTF online. --FFN 12:45, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

Title

What the Hell now, Derik. Why isn't the name more sensible, like, I dunno, "Revenge of the Fallen on home video"? —Interrobang 12:52, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

This article also needs to be fleshed out ASAP, considering it's linked to the front page, it's just a bunch of links essentially saying "Go here and buy this now." Also, the two links to Tformers and Seibertron say "these two sites put a lot more effort into their DVD articles" :p --FFN 13:13, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
Alternative solution: take the link off of the front page until the article's ready. - Magnus Maximus 13:23, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
I have no complaint with that.
Interrobang: because "home video" has a VHS connotation. -Derik 13:46, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
Also, wasn't the title put this way because we're gaming Google search results?--RosicrucianTalk 13:48, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
As suggested, I took it off the front ppage, but I just realised now the article is only linked via the community portal.... erm, should I put it back so our editors can find it? Sort of catch 22 going on here. --FFN 13:54, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
I linked it on the film's page, the Paramount Pictures page and the nav template. - Magnus Maximus 14:02, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
In retrospect, throwing a page like this up and hoping it would magically fill itself in in the morning was probably optimistic unless it's a weekend... -Derik 14:24, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

Am I counting this right? Are there at least 17 distinct editions, packages or exclusive sets of this in North America alone?! -Derik 14:34, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

No? There's the mass-release single-disc, 2-disc DVD, 2-disc Blu-Ray (3). 6 U.S. retail exclusives (Best Buy Blu-Ray, FYE DVD, WM & Target BR & DVD). 3 Canadian exclusives (and one really doesn't even count, it's a goddamn coupon taped to the front) so that's 12. 13 if you count the "four disc special edition" which is just the 2007 movie and ROTF in a bundle. Hooper_X 15:12, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

It's magically full now

Well, except for pictures. But it's enough that the casual buyer will be able to use it. You can probably put it on the front page, now. Hooper_X 15:09, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

Hooper is my favoritest magical content-elf ever. -Derik 15:15, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
(Admittedly, the last person I said that about was ZacWilliam...) -Derik 15:15, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
It's back on the front page. --FFN 15:21, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

So the Blu-ray has all the special features from the Special Edition? During my shopping at Walmart yesterday I was reading the DVD backs and getting confused. The Bluray packaging makes no mention of the standard special features. Has this been verified? (Necessary information, but I also want to know on a personal note) --Bluestreak7 16:31, 22 October 2009 (EDT)

Zellers Exclusive

Hey, about that "unspecified" DVD, I can find out what one it is today after school. -- Semysane 15:23, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
