- The Constructor Squad is a team of Decepticon Micromasters from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Micromaster Combiner Constructor Squad is a rare example of a group of Decepticons more enamored with creation than destruction. That doesn't mean they don't enjoy watching a beautiful structure being demolished; they just want even more to replace it with a terrifying ediface. Every Decepticon victory is an excuse to erect a monument at headquarters. Their enthusiasm to build can even transcend allegiance, if the bid is high enough. They're unbeatable as a team, but as individuals, their ambitions to out-design one another can get the best of them.[1]
The Constuctor Squad consists of:
- Stonecruncher and Excavator the crane-truck
- Grit and Knockout the backhoe truck
- Sledge and Hammer the dump truck

Generation 1
- Constructor Squad (Micromaster Combiner Squad, 1990)
- The Constructor Squad was sold as a carded pack of three construction vehicles, each of which splits into two robots. Any squad member can combine in vehicle mode with any other, or with any other Micromaster Combiner. They share a common color palette of orange, purple, light gray, and yellow. Hey, it's a lot less gaudy than purple and lime green!
- Members from this team were used — without alteration — to make the Japanese Autobot Crane Cannon W Team and the Dump Shovel W Team. They were also redecoed to make the pilots for the various Combiner Transports — Gusher & Pipeline, Retro & Surge, and Cement-Head & Terror-Tread.
