Synopsis
On the outskirts of Cyber-city, Demolishor is left by himself to handle a regional meldown and is ambushed by the ghost of Starscream
In Downtown Los Angeles, Landquake, Perceptor, Cliffjumper, Bulkhead, and Tow-Line fight off the swarm of Insecticons. Rad proceeds to take Alexis to Altenergy West Coast in El Segundo, while Carlos tracks their position.
In the Yukon, Ironhide, Overload, and Dropshot await a base unit to make orbital drop.
Optimus Prime struggles inside of Unicron to free Megatron, despite the best efforts of Unicron's built in immune system.
In Northern Turkey, Mirage's posse has almost eleiminated all of the Omnicons, however Kicker uses his Energon-manipulating abilities to fry Sharkticon.
Avalon and Alpha-Q continue to plot. Avalon mentions attaining a conduit to trigger and inversion. Alpha-Q is confident that his planes are flawless.
In Toronto, Thrust, Red Alert, Rodimus, Beachcomber, Hotshot, and Hoist battle against the horde of Divebomb's. When out of nowhere charges a very, very pissed off Megatron.
Items of note
- The cover of this issue was accidentally released months before Dreamwave had intended to circulate it.
- Starscream's detailling appears to be symmerical, until his asymetical toy.
- The "conduit" Avalon refers to is likely Overrun.
- Overload appears to be just a regular Autobot in this issue.
- Dropshot evidently survived being chopped in half during the Armada comic series.
