RG1's place

I actually changed my own mind on this while I was doing the section - the reason I dropped it under the G1 heading rather than at the bottom is that it's a part of the G1 franchise, whereas G2 and Classics are their own franchises. Ergo, it should go as a h3 under the h2 G1 header rather than an h2 below Classics. - Mammalian Verisimilitude 10:01, 13 July 2012 (EDT)

Hhhmmn... I'm not suuure... I mean, that's a perfectly valid reason for doing it that way, but I feel like it's just chronologically dishonest, is all. - Chris McFeely 10:16, 13 July 2012 (EDT)
Thing is, there's loads of "chronologically dishonest" stuff around the Wiki if you take that road - to pick a random example from RecentChanges, Thundercracker (G1) sticks 2009 TFCC Classics stories above 1984 G1 cartoon episodes! - Mammalian Verisimilitude 10:42, 13 July 2012 (EDT)
Well, as an example, that one is sectional and based on unrelated continuities. It's not like keeping things in chronological order of publication is one of my bugbears, or anything - I freely flout it all the time when it comes to stuff that's intended to read as one unsplintered timeline, like, say, the Japanese cartoon continuity. - Chris McFeely 11:02, 13 July 2012 (EDT)
The "Generation 1" section refers specifically to the original Marvel series, not the franchise. RG1 is not a portion of it like Earthforce or the Comic-Magazin is; it's a sequel series on the same level as G2 and Classics. 24.211.29.87 11:11, 13 July 2012 (EDT)
Is Regeneration One part of the Generation 1 franchise? It doesn't say "Generation 1" on the cover of the comic, it says "Regeneration One", like G2 comics said "Generation 2". - Starfield 12:16, 13 July 2012 (EDT)
