Transformers: Go-Bots was a Playskool branded toyline intended for preschool-age children that also had its own short-lived cartoon. The line went through several rebrandings over its lifetime: it started as Playskool Big Adventures: Transformers, became Playskool Big Adventures: Go-Bots, then just Go-Bots, and became Transformers: Go-Bots just before the line ended for good.

In Japan, the figures were sold as part of the Kid's Transformers Rescue Heroes Go-Bots toyline, which included toys from the Tonka 1-2-3 Transformers series as well.
