Transformers: Prime has had an unusually heavy amount of promotion, with 4 character promos, a sneak peek promo, a musical tribute and a behind the scenes look all released in the last three months of 2010. This is in addition to the regular episode promos that most shows get. This didn't change in 2011 with 2 commercials produced specifically to promote the debut of a weekly series without talking about any one particular episode. Looking at episode promos also shows a heavier amount of advertisement with various shorter versions of full length promos airing at the end of various shows on The Hub. The episode Convoy even got two full length promos.

- McDonald's Happy Meals [50]
- An animated ad plugging apple slices now available in Happy Meals is followed by animation of a goat walking up to a generic Happy Meal box. The goat whistles at the box. The goat comes to a stop, picks up the Bumblebee toy that came with the meal and makes "Vroom, vroom" noises. There's an all new Transformers: Prime toy in your McDonald's Happy Meal.

The Predacons begin tearing around the room as the Autobots try to stop them. Slapstick ensues, resulting in Bumblebee riding Lazerback like a bucking bronco and Optimus Prime swating a flying Predaking with a skateboard. The battle ends with Prime and Bumbleebee sitting on a desk fist bumping as Predaking dangles below, tied up with part of a laptop power cord.
- Narration: Dynamic!
- Toy Segment: Fast motion transformations on a desk in a room that looks like the one in the animation segment.
- Notes: A poster of the 1984 back of the box art can be seen on a wall in the CGI version of the room. Apparently, CGI animation segments in ads are causing confusion. The animation of the toy battle has to be labeled 'Fantasy Animation' and the narrator explicitly points out that the toys do not move on their own. The power cord Predaking is tied up with must have one heavy adapter box as it's able to counterbalance his weight.
It's the evil Predacons versus the mighty Beast Hunters. The good, the bad and the beastly!
- 30-Second Holiday Special: "Decepticon Holidays: Naughty List" [63]
- As Megatron recites A Visit from St. Nicholas over the videoscreen, three Vehicons discuss whether mice would stir Egg Nog before Megatron threatens them with placement on the naughty list.

- 30-Second Holiday Special: "Deception Holidays: Holiday Schmoliday" [65]
- As an Insecticon relays orders from Megatron to dispose of whoever decorated the Nemesis to his troops, they pass by the two Vehicons responsible, one of whom regrets their actions. The other Vehicon replies that he thought the decorations were subtle. We then cut to Earth's sky as the Nemesis, garishly decorated in Christmas lights including a light-based reindeer and tree, as it emerges from a cloud. As they watch the spectacle on a videoscreen, the first Vehicon questions the subtlety of the design, the second Vehicon remarking that he was moved by the holiday spirit.
