"Arzon know best. Come, please"

Though brash, daring, and more than a little naïve, Arzon is an idealist at heart, and capable of wielding his magic eagle totem to great effect. However, his desire to uphold the virtuous ideals of the Spectral Knights runs contrary to his need to help his species... especially when the last survivors of his lost homeworld are stranded on a planet that runs anathema to everything his culture holds dear.

"Why Arzon kill Cybertronians? No more war talk!"

Long ago, on the planet Prysmos, Arzon was one of the Spectral Knights under Leoric's command, serving the enigmatic wizard Merklynn.

When Prysmos was destroyed in the cataclysmic "Trinary De-Alignment," Arzon was one of the ten thousand survivors that safely escaped, and eventually found his way to the city of "New Prysmos," founded by Merklynn in the depths of Cybertron. At a subsequent meeting, the Visionaries gathered to discuss how best to deal with the dominant species. Schismatic

When relations between the Cybertronians and Prysmosians broke down, Arzon joined Leoric and the other Spectral Knights in their Redoubt to discuss their next moves, even as Virulina's Darkling Lords prepared for open war against the Transformers. Though Leoric advocated a peaceful approach, Arzon was unsure of instigating open conflict among their already-endangered species; ultimately, Leoric's rhetoric won him over, and Arzon joined the other Spectral Knights as they attempted to stop the Darkling Lords from bringing down the force field that separated them from the rest of Cybertron. They were unsuccessful, and Leoric's small group of Spectral Knights were defeated. Realizing that they couldn't go it alone, the group retreated to Wheeljack's lab, where they proposed an alliance with the Transformers in order to save their world from the Talisman's destructive mission. Cybertron No More

Learning from the treacherous Mortdred that Virulina had been appointed chancellor of the city, Leoric sent Arzon, Mortdred and Witterquick back to the city to assassinate her before she could consolidate her power. They were betrayed by Mortdred, however, and captured by Virulina aboard her new steed, Waspinator. Desperate Measures Though Witterquick and Mortdred were taken prisoner, Arzon had a different fate in store for him: foreseeing a time when Virulina's fiery rhetoric would no longer serve the purposes of Prysmos, Merklynn expounded on his plans, informing Arzon that in order to sustain the progress that the Darkling Lords would incite, he would require a good leader who could unite both Darkling Lords and Spectral Knights... a man like Arzon. Good Men Unbeknownst to Arzon, this was a ruse: once Virulina had fallen, Merklynn would simply use him as a puppet to rule from behind the scenes. The Curtain

"Boy man now... do man's work."

Swayed by this talk, Arzon joined the Darkling Lords; when the Cybertronians journeyed to the core of Cybertron aboard Quickswitch to stop the Talisman, Arzon, Cravex, and Lexor teleported in to stop them. When Galadria turned down his request to join them, Arzon attempted to destroy the anti-magical "bomb" Wheeljack had created and sliced it in two. Good Men As the battle raged in the core, Galadria managed to tackle her ex-comrade, while Ironhide nearly sacrificed his life to activate the damaged bomb.

Ultimately, Galadria's healing magic had an unexpected reaction with the Talisman, and the combined energy succeeded in teleporting New Prysmos to the surface of Cybertron, restoring a portion of its biosphere. A week later, Leoric awoke and forgave Arzon—a Spectral Knight once more—for his transgressions, agreeing that they had all been manipulated by Merklynn. Putting their differences aside, the two men agreed to work together for the good of their city. The Curtain
