Masashi Ebara
Masashi Ebara (江原 正士 Ebara Masashi, born May 4, 1953) is a Japanese voice actor. Some of his anime roles include Alastor in Shakugan no Shana, Might Guy in Naruto, Hoenheim in Full Metal Alchemist, Mojo Jojo in Powerpuff Girls Z, Captain Bravo in Buso Renkin, Yomi in Yu Yu Hakusho, Chiral in Sailor Moon R, Monsoon in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Richard Vincent in The SoulTaker. He also voiced Dyrandoh in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and is the third voice of Mr. Satan in the Dragon Ball franchise succeeding both the late Daisuke Gōri and Unshō Ishizuka.
Ebara is a popular voice in the world of dubbing, taking familiar roles such as Storm Shadow in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, James the Red Engine in Thomas & Friends (succeeding Katsuji Mori), Clayface in The DC Animated Universe, Aquaman in Batman: The Brave & the Bold, Wolverine in the TV Tokyo dub of Saban's X-Men, Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Norbert Foster Beaver in The Angry Beavers, The Chief in Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?, Squit in Animaniacs, Lumeire in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Fozzie Bear and Dr. Bunson Honeydew in The Muppets franchise, Voldemort in the Harry Potter film series, Freddy Krueger in Freddy vs. Jason, Gustave Le Grand in My Little Pony: Frendship is Magic, The T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day and as the current voice of Sylvester the Cat in the Looney Tunes franchise. Ebara also serves as the official dub voice for the likes of Tom Hanks and also regularly dubbed for the likes Wesley Snipes, Robin Williams, Bill Murray, Alec Baldwin, Bruce Campbell, Joe Pantoliano, Eddie Murphy, Vince Vaughn, Will Smith, Willem Dafoe, Andy Garcia and many more.
