Muffins is a pony from My Little Pony.
Yep. We've finally reached a point where we actually had to create a page for this character.

We just don't know what went wrong.

Muffins is a pegasus from the land of Equestria. She is Ponyville's mail carrier, and usually has a...unique perspective on things.

After a mixture of magic and science had brought several Autobots and Decepticons to Equestria, Transformation Is Magic Muffins was part of the studio audience of the latest episode of Preppin' with Pinkie, with Gauge as the special guest. When Shockwave arrived via space bridge, the studio audience promptly fled for their lives, but Muffins stayed in the studio long enough to see Pinkie and Gauge take down the Decepticon. They Eat Ponies, Don't They?

Notes

[edit]
  • *sigh* Okay, SO...this was a nameless background character that showed up in the series premiere who inexplicably had her eyes pointing in mismatched directions. Fans latched onto the character due to this oddity, turning her into a meme and giving her the unofficial names "Derpy Hooves" and "Ditzy Doo". In response to the character's popularity, the show's staff started featuring her more and more prominently in crowd scenes and one-off gags, now consciously making an effort to cross her eyes in all appearances. This culminated in the show actually giving her a speaking role and saying her name aloud as "Derpy" in the second season episode "The Last Roundup", joining the ranks of such canonized fan names as Darkside, "Punch of Kill Everything", and Steve the Vehicon. However, the episode was edited shortly thereafter to remove the name for a combination of legal reasons related to trademarking and fear that the name could be seen as derogatory to those with disabilities. While the character continued to make appearances, she was conspicuously and consistently referred to without a name, be it in the show, in the comics, or even on official merchandise. Eventually around 2014, Hasbro settled on the name "Muffins", the foodstuff having become associated with the character in several of her appearances. From then on, she was officially Muffins in nearly all fiction and merchandise, though occasional subtle references to her original fan name(s) would pop up here and there in some licensed media. And since the character's name is never called out in "They Eat Ponies, Don't They?", we have logically opted to assume the same applies here and have named the article as such. *whew* There, that's your entirely too detailed history lesson for the day. Don't say we never taught you anything.
