Taitem Kusunoki
Taitem Kusunoki (楠 大典 Kusunoki Taiten, born on March 18, 1967) is a Japanese voice actor who was born as Daisuke Fukuda (福田大典 Fukuda Daisuke). Some of his more notable roles include Ibiki Morino in Naruto, Nail in Dragon Ball Kai, Harimao in Lupin III: Pursuit of Harimao's Treasure, Boris in Black Lagoon, Joseph Copeland in Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, Antonio Lopez/Rock Bison in Tiger & Bunny and Professor Utonium in Powerpuff Girls Z. In video games, he is the voice of M. Bison (Vega) in Street Fighter 6, Heihachi Mishima in Tekken 8, and E-123 Omega in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
In the world of dubbing, Kusunoki has played Goliath in Disney's Gargoyles, Lt. Stone in G.I. Joe: Extreme, Heavy Duty in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, John Stewart/Green Lantern in the DC Animated Universe, Dengar in Star Wars: The Clone Wars as well as Darth Vader since 2015, Shocker in Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, the Lizard in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Lucas Bishop in X-Men: Days of Future Past, Galactus in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Venom in Insomniac's Spider-Man 2, Lebron James in Space Jam: A New Legacy and he's one of the dub-over voices for The Rock, John Cena, Tyrese Gibson, Dave Bautista, Jamie Foxx, Vin Diesel, Idris Elba, Jet Li, Adewale Akinnue-Agbae, and Sylvester Stallone, basically for any Hollywood tough guy actor.

[edit]- Kusunoki has dubbed for Tyrese Gibson in numerous films, including Annapolis, Four Brothers, Flight of the Phoenix and 2 Fast 2 Furious. As fate would have it, though, he did NOT dub Gibson in the live-action Transformers film series. Jin Yamanoi got that job.
- Kusunoki has dubbed for The Rock in numerous films, including G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Get Smart, Faster and Walking Tall. And yet the job of playing Prime Cliffjumper went to Noriaki Sugiyama. He just can't win.
- Kusunoki shares the roles of Jazz and Jack Burns with Reginaldo Primo in their respective languages.
- Kusonoki originally auditioned for the role of Fire Convoy before being cast as Black Convoy.
