Talk:King
His name is just "King," according to the roll-over graphic interface thing.
My bad. I'm porting my jpg over to the main article though-- I recomposited it from the flash elements to show as much of his body as possible. -Derik 12:15, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
Man, Walky is scary when he's burgin'. --RosicrucianTalk 12:19, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
Simmons quote about "they've been here a longer than we think" seems like it might make an appropriate accent here... it was in one of the promos, right? -Derik 12:27, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
- Simmons is also an expert on things that go between two pieces of bread...--RosicrucianTalk 12:29, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
Hey, I'm a bit too close to the subject to do it myself, but perhaps mention should be made of my Autobot font being used on his page? --Jimsorenson 13:50, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
- Actually might be better to put in when we do the article for the Transform Your Way promotion.--RosicrucianTalk 14:42, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
Put it in me, Scott
[edit]Can somebody put a link in that quote to the reference? Drmick 14:41, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
- That's not something we generally do for captions, but in case we change our minds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LQpRQh2KSQ --ItsWalky 14:48, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
- That is awesome!Dead Metal 15:42, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
- I hate that commercial so much. --M Sipher 16:54, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
- You're so, so alone, dude. --ItsWalky 07:36, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
- Never even heard of Quizno's but a quick Google shows that as I type this I am sitting about 50 metres from the only one in Northern Ireland. Still, I'm pretty sure that ad is a North America (if not USA) only ad. Population of Earth = RotW 96%, USA 4%. So if it's like that I'm going to put JR Hartley and Accrington Stanley references all over this wiki! Drmick 07:32, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
- It plays in Canada, and it's on Youtube. Plus, this is an English wiki. That takes out a pretty big chunk of the world that both a) has no Internet access and b) does not speak English. So yeah, poor argument. --Detour 07:43, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
- Not to be a... hang on, what's a UK-centric term? Prat. Yeah. Not to be a prat, but if you peep our visitor logs, this site is overwhelmingly frequented by folks from the U.S. - don't worry, the UK is nicely represented and all, but one specific reference to a U.S. fast food ad campaign in an article REFERENCING a U.S. fast food ad campaign seems to be a bit much to get worked up over. (on the other hand, I don't even think it's that funny, and there's way better potential jokes out there.) Hooper_X 07:44, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
- "Plus, this is an English wiki." It's an American wiki, Detour, your whole argument is based on that fact. Anyways, I've stuck in a Carlsberg reference in the past that is UK specific, so I'm just as guilty. But I'm in the minority (being a UK fan), and everyone loves the underdog, right? Drmick 07:56, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
- FWIW: I'm American and I had no idea what the caption meant. - Starfield 08:40, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
- No actually, he's right. It's an English wiki. We decided... gosh... ages ago that British English spelling were not considered 'incorrect' here. We're not Americentric. -Derik 10:42, 23 June 2009 (EDT)

- Fer gods' sake, people, how dense are you? Do you not know how to use Google? Do you expect every single reference to be served to you on a silver platter? Do you expect the range of your knowledge to be 100% coterminous with the references on the wiki? Hey! I got an idea! Let's replace every single joke caption with a Star Wars quote! 'Cause otherwise someone out there might not get one of them, but probably everybody's seen Star Wars! Yeah! (Personally, I find myself disappointed by the lack of WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?) -- Repowers 11:11, 23 June 2009 (EDT)
- Oh, I googled "WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?" haha funny. :| (I must be a hermit. I don't know anything.) - Starfield 12:52, 23 June 2009 (EDT)

External link
[edit]Okay, the 'Transform Your Way' website is now just a regular Burger King website. Should the link alone be removed or should the entire External Link section be removed? I say the latter. - Zadok Rox 20:22, 22 April 2010 (EDT)
- Agreed. There's not much point to it now.--Jimsorenson 20:49, 22 April 2010 (EDT)
Tech Specs
[edit]Why does King, and King only, have his Tech Specs listed? -- Cr85747 23:58, 2 May 2012 (EDT)
- Because they are notable. Who else has a "Creepiness" rating. Nobody. Not even Dead End (ROTF). - Starfield 00:11, 3 May 2012 (EDT)
