It depends on whether you think the factions are based on common origins or common beliefs, and what really counts as switching factions. Neither Rampage nor Quickstrike were ever reprogrammed into being Predacons, in the manner Blackarachnia and Inferno were; rather, QS' personality fit one group better than the other and Rampage was enslaved. I think the following words appear in the article before would be a little bit odd, so I moved here.

For some fans, they believe it(referring the way of Rampage's body was built) is the reason why Rampage appeared as a mechanical crab after scanning is because his body was built by traditional technology instead of effected by Quantum surge. What kind of crab is Rampage?

Is there a reference for his being a king crab? King crabs as a family include a great many genera. I've also seen him referred to as a coconut crab, including on Wikipedia, which makes sense given that he was found in a swamp.

According to really old insider reports from Ben Yee, Rampage's pre-release name was "King Crab." I've never heard of any official source calling him a coconut crab, and suspect that is just another bit of Wikipidiocy. --Thylacine 2000 22:38, 25 April 2011 (EDT)

Honored member?

When Megatron gives Rampage his name at the end of "Bad Spark", and welcomes him into the fold, he states that Rampage "shall be an honored member", possibly the only time Megatron uses the "H"-word without disgust. I interpreted that statement as Megatron acknowledging that the honor comes from Protoform X being given the name of one of the original Predacons, especially since there isn't anything about the rest of the scene that comes off as honorable. Just curious if anyone else ever saw it that way; I suppose it wouldn't be worthy to note such speculation in the main article unless we had input from the show staff on the matter. Toys

In the toys section I noticed that it states that the rarer silver headed and chest version was a later revision, but it was actually the other way around. I own both versions of Rampage, and on the first version it has the silver accents on his head and chest instead of gold. Also the first releases of Rampage was originally in a slimmer box with a slightly different UPC code. I pulled my boxes out of storage and checked the serial number of the box that my Silver chest Rampage came in which is 554455.00. The 00 ones only existed in the store for a blink of an eye. I say they only saw one release before they replaced them with the more common gold chest revision cases.

Featured Article?

Read the description of "Featured Articles". It says "Complete". Rad is telling me that this article is NOT complete.

Claws are missle launcher?

Hey, I just am curious, does anyone know what's up with this: http://www.tfu.info/1998/Predacon/Rampage/beastmode.jpg. I am seeing what appears to show two missles in the right pincer, and the other in the left. Now what I am wondering about is, is this like a storage space for the missles, or some type of hidden missle launchers, and either way, does anyone have a better image with a good angle that could show it? I ask because I can't seem to find one, and I think that it should be mentioned somewhere as that's a function that is not even covered anywhere on here. I'd be glad to, but without purchasing it myself, I have no idea how to confirm or deny it. Plus, I'd put the image up to help with the info, but I don't know where it would even fit if I had one. I don't know of any forums to use, and besides that, I can't use the Discord server. I'd like to, but if you check out my user talk page thingy, you'll see why I can't. Plus, I was asking because I thought that it should be added here. I mean, I'm sure that I'm not the only one wondering about that. I'm trying to keep it relevant. I thought that double checking the info on here to ensure that it right, and asking for sources and whatnot was ok. I mean, there is the whole "sources needed" thing on here to put when info is missing. So I'm not trying to be rude, but I truly don't understand what's wrong with my questions when they are to check the accuracy of the info. After all, I thought that the whole point of this site was to have proper info. Am I mistaken on that? Now I get your point, I'm not saying that I'll continue regardless of what you say, but rather that I truly don't understand what the problem is. I also thought that I'd add that sometimes I say one thing when I mean something else, and don't even realize that what I have said or typed means something different from my intent. I have even had many cases where I have attempted to say "I agree.", yet what I say/type somehow winds up meaning "I'm right and you're wrong./I'm arguing because I disagree.". So if I am doing that in this case, please let me know. As what I am trying to do is stay on topic and help the wiki. If I'm somehow not succeeding in doing so, please tell me how I'm messing up, and how to fix it. Because I'd hate for this to continue. Also, I'm sorry either way.
