Isn't Transtech now the name of a sub-line of the movie? -Derik

I thought that was T.E.C.H., or something along those lines? --KilMichaelMcC 03:21, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Yep, T.E.C.H. --KilMichaelMcC 03:23, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
No. There's "Real Gear Robots" and "Robot Heroes" and "Fast-Action Battlers" and "Cyber-Slammers" and "-Stompers" and there's "automorphing," but there ain't no Transtech. --ItsWalky 03:22, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Transtech is a Power Rangers subline... Derik.--MCRG 03:25, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
*picks ear with pinky* Oh, I knew I'd heard it somewhere recently... -Derik 07:32, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

People should stop adding Soundwave to this list. I thought it was settled that the Draxhall Jump Soundwave was a "Wouldn't this be cool?" drawing unrelated to Transtech. It's certainly not done in the format of the known Transtech sheets. -Rotty 22:34, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

The problem is that ONE of the pictures of Soundwave from Draxhall did have the big ol' Transtech logo on it, though that was really just to show off the whole folder of unused concepts, be they for Transtech or not. -Vanguard 22:42, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
As always, when there is information that is contested -- even wrongly -- that should be *stated* and corrected on the page, rather than simply omitted. That way people won't constantly be trying to "fix" it, and we can educate at the same time. --Steve-o 17:05, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Fan Club stuff waiting period?

[edit]

I understand and aprove our usual waiting period on Fan club material that's relesed exclusively to club memebers, as it honors and respects the materials intended exclusive availabillity. However the first 4 pages of Tt comic material was put up on the public front page and made freely open to all fans to read. It would make sense that the free release of the pages to everyone negates any waiting period on adding the material therein, right? --ZacWilliam 15:10, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, usually we have a one-month waiting period, but it's up for everyone to read. It's why I didn't beat Interrobang around yesterday for adding appearances to various dudes' pages, though I wanted to. --ItsWalky 15:17, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
But speaking of...
Thanks, Walky, but I already have your mom doing it. —Interrobang 16:53, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Fan Club revamp

[edit]

Do we want a new page for this? Like, disambig it like "Transtech (old)" and "Transtech (new)"? (Well, not that EXACTLY, but you know what I mean.) It seems likely that "Transtech" will soon have a real in-fiction canonical meaning, something that shouldn't be buried on a page that's entirely about an old abandoned franchise. --ItsWalky 15:17, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Maybe we should state The new/2008 Transtech story is different from the old one with {{note}}. And then we use {{main|Transtech (comic)}} in the Fiction section. Um, well, something like that. --TX55 15:27, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
...if you know that this is a new continuity, then why are you adding Transtech sections to Cheetor and Silverbolt's pages? --ItsWalky 15:31, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I'm truly sorry. I forgot to say sorry on the last edit on this page. I just got the info after seeing the edit before my edit on 15:27. --TX55 15:37, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

It could be argued that Transtech is in the BW/BM continuity family as much as Hearts of Steel is in the G1 continuity family. ...well it could, but I almost feel kinda dirty arguing it.--RosicrucianTalk 17:14, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

I... don't think it has anything to do with BW/BM anymore. I'm pretty sure that's been stated. This is a new universe, unrelated to others. --ItsWalky 17:36, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Is "Transcendent" officially set in a continuity named "Transtech"? If so then, yeah, there needs to be a split. JW 15:34, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Man...

[edit]

If this had come out instead of RiD... I'd love to live in THAT alternate universe. --Dynamus Prime 21:56, 2008 February 13 (UTC)

Yeh, I strongly agree with you. I really love TRANSTECH much more. --TX55 00:12, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
They need to make this the series after Animated. Either that, or Beast Wars: Animated.

Optimus Prime?

[edit]

This article claims that Transtech' Optimus would have been Prime from G1. However, the Notes section in Optimus Prime (TransTech) says that it's unknown whether he would have been Prime or Primal. So which is it? Bluie (talk) 08:29, 7 October 2023 (EDT)

transtech prime is g1 prime. primal may have been a different character. --P.p. pie (talk) 18:38, 26 February 2024 (EST)

source for neue ziel

[edit]

allegedly the neue ziel megatron is from Hobby Japan Issue 345, but i can't find that issue online. if anyone can find the original panel from the magazine, could we link it to this page? or put it on this page in the notes section?
