If I had to say who's ''closest''... I'd go with probably MW Thundercracker. But that's still quite the stretch.  Certainly for the purposes of the article, I don't think we should identify it a reference to any one of them.

Interesting reference for a Seeker redeco.--RosicrucianTalk 20:57, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

And the deco furthers the reference because one of the Rainmakers was about that shade of green. It's a more elaborate color scheme, because the Rainmakers were boring as hell (go lazy animators!).--RosicrucianTalk 21:34, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
So it's the Green Rainmaker that's supposed to be Acid Storm? Crap. That means my friend Lady Tecuma and I are going to have to change the name of one of our Rainmakers in our fan fiction. We named the green one "Stormbringer" in honour of the comic series, which if you ask me is a hell of a lot more creative than "Acid Storm". Anyway, you can read about them here [1], if you like.--Nightshade83 17:29, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
We've yet to see a packaging bio, so it can't be certain who he's supposed to be. The coincidences are pretty big, though.--RosicrucianTalk 17:51, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Camo jets

[edit]

To help settle the question of whether Acid Storm's camo is a reference to anything, I've found pics of the three four camo-jet TFs I know about:

Unproduced G2 Ramjet

Unproduced G2 somebody

MW Thundercracker

Edit: Wingstun

And here's Acid Storm.

If I had to say who's closest... I'd go with probably MW Thundercracker Wing Stun. But that's still quite the a bit of a stretch. Certainly for the purposes of the article, I don't think we should identify the deco as a reference to any one of them.
