Skystalker (ROTF)

Skystalker is a Decepticon from the Revenge of the Fallen portion of the movie continuity family.

Skystalker thoroughly enjoys double-teaming Scattorshot with his partner Divebomb—mainly because Divebomb's new biplane form means he takes all the heat, while Skystalker has all the fun. In this case, "fun" means using his stealth drone form to sneak up on Scattorshot and snag him into the air.

Skystalker, at some point, was captured and brainwashed by the Initiative into being one of their soldiers. He was thrown at an Autobot/NEST team in the Initiative's final battle. Nefarious #5 Nefarious #6

Successfully rehabilitated by the Decepticons, Skystalker returned to active service and went around selling Cybertronian arms to humans with Divebomb and Fearswoop. When the Autobots turned up, Skystalker was perplexed they had sent their women to do the fighting for them. Unite for the Universe

Attracted by the promise of power, Skystalker and his partner Ravage joined in on Starscream's plans to apply the results of Project: Unite to Decepticons. In order to find acquire raw materials for Starscream, he attacked the recycling plant where NEST were melting down the bodies of killed Decepticons, defeated Ironhide and spirited away the corpses of Sideways and Bonecrusher. Ambition Instigated When the Autobots tracked Starscream to the islands of Greece, Skystalker went on the offensive against Sea Spray and Breacher, strafing them across the sea. In the end he was destabilized by a wind attack from Sea Spray's turbines and shot down by Breacher, causing him to crash into the ocean. Bludgeon's Revenge

Now I am a vulture!

Skystalker transforms from a robot into a flying-wing-style stealth jet drone similar to the BAE Corax, with large engine intakes on both sides of the fuselage that resemble those of a Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit and sculpted zigzag patterns like those found on an F-22 Raptor. He sports a symbol on both wings that's loosely based on the US Air Force roundel, replacing the star in the center with a Decepticon insignia (an identical symbol can be found on Voyager Class Mindwipe). Undocumented in the instructions, the two axes that peg into his palms as weapons for his robot mode can also clip directly to his forearms (giving them a superficial similarity to tonfa). For vehicle mode, they integrate into the stealth jet's wings. The robot mode feet are spring-loaded so the heels and toes collapse down and together when the feet are lifted off the ground. This is presumably to simulate the bird-like snatch-and-carry-off activity mentioned in his bio.

The instructions include a "battle mode", which is essentially the vehicle mode with the robot legs untransformed, similar to the "alternate transformation" mode seen on Generation 1 Jetfire, which of course, was the "gerwalk" mode from the Japanese series Super Dimensional Fortress Macross.

There is an undocumented interaction between Skystalker and Voyager Class Mindwipe: In vehicle mode, Skystalker can attach on top of Mindwipe's alternate mode via two pegs, allowing Skystalker a piggy-back style transportation on Mindwipe's back similar to a Space Shuttle on the back of a Boeing 747.

This mold was also used to make Sunspot, the Tokyo Toy Show exclusive Generation 2 Smokescreen, and Generations Laserbeak.
