Sixbuilder is an Autobot Micromaster combiner from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Construction crews are cheaper when you only have to sign one paycheck.

The combined form of the Build Team (ビルドチーム Birudo Chīmu), Sixbuilder (シックスビルダー Sikkusubirudā) is the strongest of all the Micromaster combined robots. When it comes to pure physicality, none can beat him, though Sixwing and Sixtrain's super modes can give him a run for his money. Despite his colossal strength, Sixbuilder far prefers to live up to the second part of his name, and use his talents for construction rather than combat.

Sixbuilder's component robots are...

Micromaster

Mirror, mirror, on the site, who's the one that I must fight?

During a particularly pitched battle with between the Autobot Micromasters and the Decepticon Sixwing in Berserker Mode outside the Autobots' base, the storage capsules containing the Build Team in Cyberdroid form took a shock, activating them. A little while later, Micromasters resembling the Build Team were spotted wrecking human construction sites. The Build Team soon confronted them in Sixbuilder mode... only for the impostors to do the same! The green Decepticon Sixbuilder announced that the two teams were actually halves of the original whole, and that he would rejoin with Sixbuilder only after all the other Autobots had been destroyed. Sixbuilder the Ill-Fated Warrior!?

Operation Combination

Many years later, Sixbuilder and all other Micromaster Combiners scattered across the globe were summoned to Earth's orbit to join Guard City in a last line of defense against Battle Gaia and the Jet Corps, who had fought their way past the Road Corps. Sixbuilder went up against Dark Jet. The Decepticons' Attack on Earth!

Sixbuilder, Sixtrain, Sixwing, Sixturbo, and Guard City eventually combined to form the "Autobot Scrum Combination". Combining the power of all twenty-nine individual Autobots, their unleashed energy destroyed Battle Gaia on the spot. As the Jet Corps fled with the remains of Battle Gaia, Sixbuilder joined the other Autobots in gleefully waving goodbye. Conclusion

Later, alongside Flashwing, Deathplay, Darkfly, and Sharpedge, Scrash made another bid to conquer Earth. Sixbuilder and the new Autobot defenders of Earth fought off all five Decepticons and saved the day. Somehow. Kiss Players timeline

Toys

Operation Combination

  • Sixbuilder (Micromaster, 1992)
    • Japanese ID number: TF-01
The original version Sixbuilder was available only as a complete gift set in Japan. His component robots can be swapped around with the other similarly-built Six-Teams Sixturbo or Sixwing, and to some degree with Sixliner and Sixtrain. His combiner kibble can be assembled to make the "Beat Jet" vehicle that can be piloted by a single Micromaster. The original Six-Teams are considered among the more difficult Japanese Generation 1 pieces to find.
This mold set was also used to make Destron Sixbuilder and Universe (2003) Micromaster combiner Devastator.

Micromaster

  • Crush-Bull (Micromaster, 2002)
  • Digger (Micromaster, 2002)
  • Iron Lift (Micromaster, 2002)
  • Gran Arm (Micromaster, 2002)
  • Treader (Micromaster, 2002)
  • Mixing (Micromaster, 2002)
In 2002, the entire Sixbuilder team was re-released as part of The Transformers: Micromaster, in individual boxes with a number visible to show which mold was inside each box. For this release, all of the decals from the original version were replaced with paint applications. In addition, the plastic colors of all six components were changed. Sixbuilder could only be assembled by buying all six components individually; he was never offered as a complete set.

Merchandise

  • Velvet Art (1992)
Produced by Takara, this is a piece of black original line-art on velvet cardback to be colored with special markers. It appears to be based on the Sixbuilder boxart rather than the actual toy, as Treader is attached to the knee joint sideways; a mis-interpretation of the box-art Sixbuilder's stance.
