Starscream's Underbase-power rampage severely injured many Autobots, damaging millions of microchips. Optimus Prime then tasked Landmine and Cloudburst with purchasing microchips with energon cubes on the black market at Grand Central Space Station.
At the Space Station's Asteroid Alley, Landmine and Cloudburst found Hi-Test and Throttle, who, in disguise, offered microchips supplied from the Mecannibals. Landmine, intent on dealing with the boss, forced Hi-Test and Throttle to bring them before Master Mouth. Despite a distraction provided by the presence of Sky Lynx, the two got their microchips.
