  • Autobots vs. Decepticons (Micromaster multi-pack, 2019)
    • ID number: WFC-S60
Siege Ricon is a retool of Highjump, featuring a new head and torso based on Generation 1 Hydraulic. He transforms into something akin to a Land Rover that doesn't look Cybertronian in the least. As part of the C.O.M.B.A.T. System, he can also combine with Irontread to form the "Dual-Port Scrapegrinder" double-barreled blaster, though his half-weapon mode functions just fine all on its own, and can also combine with many other Micromaster weapon modes to make whatever fun combo-blasters suit your fancy.
He was only available as part of a Target exclusive ten-pack of Micromasters, which includes the Autobots Ground Shaker, Irontread, Overair, Road-Police, and Wheel Blaze, and the Decepticons Cratermaker, Fireline, Nightflight, and Slyhopper.

Notes

  • Ricon's name appears to be derived from the "RI Construction" label on the original Ironworks toy's vehicle mode, itself a reference to Rhode Island, home to Hasbro's headquarters, and apparently is pronounced to rhyme with "icon".
  • Ricon's status as an original character, not homaging any prior Micromaster, was confirmed by John Warden during an interview at San Diego Comic-Con 2019.
