Beginning as an original universe loosely based on the original Beast Wars franchise, the Beast Wars: Uprising timeline was later revealed to be an offshoot reality from the original cartoon, based on what might have happened had Megatron successfully pulled off his scheme to kill the comatose Optimus Prime during the events of "The Agenda (Part III)". (Spoiler alert: Things don't go as well as he hoped.)

"Micro-Aggressions" notes that by the 24th century, human datekeeping has shifted from the original "BCE/CE" notation into the "BA/SCA" (Before Ark and Stellar Cycle of the Ark, respectively) chronology, referring to the years before and after the awakening of the Ark in 1984. For convenience, we have listed both dates where appropriate.

11 million years ago

• The Great War begins. Micro-Aggressions

• The Ark crashes on Earth. The Agenda (Part III)
• Over the course of their Beast Wars, the Optimus Primal and Megatron from an alternative future discover the Ark and the Autobots and Decepticons within. The Agenda (Part III) In the ensuing battle, Megatron tries to change the Great War by killing Optimus Prime, and the Maximals fail to save the Autobot leader. The original Megatron possibly dies shortly afterwards. The subsequent timestorm deletes these Maximals and Predacons from history. A Change to the Agenda

• Humans construct the first artificial intelligence. Micro-Aggressions

1992 (8 SCA)

• Humans colonize Mars. Micro-Aggressions

1997 (13 SCA)

• The Autobots collude with a major world power to construct the first warp gate at the edge of the Solar System. Using the warp gate, humans begin colonizing other solar systems. Micro-Aggressions

2003 (19 SCA)

• Humans reorganize G.I. Joe's Star Brigade into the Earth Defense Command as their outward push expands, defending Earth and her colonies from Cybertronian threats. Micro-Aggressions

2014 (30 SCA)

• Artificial intelligence becomes commonplace in human society. Micro-Aggressions

2017 (33 SCA)

• Humans perfect the noninvasive neural interface. Micro-Aggressions
• A Cybertronian attack devastates the human colony of New Earth. The EDC declares human space off-limits to all Cybertronians, both Autobot and Decepticons. Micro-Aggressions

2023 (39 SCA)

• Having reverse-engineered and improved on Transformer technology, humans reach the Human Singularity, where their technological development and power outpaces that of the Transformers.
• The human colony of Xin Shanghai is ravaged by Decepticons using a stolen Autobot shuttle. Micro-Aggressions

2026 (42 SCA)

• Humans destroys the Autobot vessel Star Arrow before it can reach Tamil Duniya. Micro-Aggressions

2029 (45 SCA)

• The Human Confederacy is founded. The Earth Defense Command is reorganized and expanded into the Confederated Terran Colonial Fleet. Micro-Aggressions

2031 (47 SCA)

• The Cybertronian war spreads to the unaffiliated world of Nebulos. Micro-Aggressions To counter the Decepticons, the Autobots bond Spike Witwicky and Cerebros with Fortress Maximus. Head Games The ensuing campaign becomes known as the Scouring of Nebulos, a conflict that claims thousands of lives due to the city-bot. Micro-Aggressions Head Games Tired of the war, the Human Confederacy's first action is to forcibly impose an armistice on the Autobots and Decepticons, ending the Great War. Transformers are banned from leaving the "Allowed Zone", a region of space encompassing Cybertron and nine colonies. Micro-Aggressions
• The Targetmaster Extirpation sees most Targetmasters wiped out. The survivors of the genocide go underground, adopting new bodies to disguise their true natures. Trigger Warnings
• Fortress Maximus is subsequently sent back to Cybertron, where he grinds to a halt in Tarn. Head Games

2033 (49 SCA)

• Galvatron leads the Great Push against the Confederacy. The battle ends in a humiliating defeat for the Cybertronians. Micro-Aggressions Trypticon is gravely wounded during the hostilities, and only survives after Full-Tilt binary-bonds himself into Trypticon's body as an ad-hoc T-cog. Intersectionality As punishment, the Allowed Zone is shrunk in half. The CTFC sterilizes the five worlds outside the new Allowed Zone after a ten-day evacuation period. Micro-Aggressions
• Galvatron returns to Cybertron in disgrace, and dies after being vivisected by Cybertronian scientists. His remains are subsequently processed into the G-Virus and locked away in Cybertron's Forever Vaults Micro-Aggressions
• Cyberdroid refugees from Master emigrate to Cybertron after their home planet is destroyed. Broken Windshields Although they attempt to integrate into Cybertronian society at large, they are by and large treated as outsiders.

2033-2054 (49-70 SCA)

• Continuing fuel shortages deplete Cybertron's infrastructure. Eventually, Energon is at such a premium that few Transformers can move around under their own power. Only the smallest and most fuel-efficient Cybertronians like the Micromasters and Mini-Cassettes remain capable of independent movement. Most Transformers adopt sedentary lifestyles to conserve fuel, hard-wiring themselves into stationary fixtures. Head Games Broken Windshields
• The survivors of the Great War re-organize their society, becoming known as the Builders of Cybertron, presided over by the Builder Assembly. Even so, the former Autobots and Decepticons continue to cling to old grudges. Broken Windshields Head Games

• Humans conquer death, becoming immortal. Head Games Micro-Aggressions

2064-2074 (80-90 SCA)

• Humans begin augmenting themselves, and the majority of humanity speciate into three distinct branches of humanity: biologically-enhanced, circuitry-enhanced, and psionic varieties, with un-augmented citizens considered to be second-class citizens. Micro-Aggressions A sizeable percentage of humans no longer consider themselves male or female. Ask Vector Prime

2174 (130 SCA)

• The Eutychtus Project begins, aiming to resurrect humans from the past. Intersectionality Micro-Aggressions
• Hoping to forge some kind of future for his dying race, Cerebros contacts the Lazarus Society to request a new method of procreation to replace the destroyed Vector Sigma. Head Games He receives the Energon Matrix as an alternative source of new Sparks. Using this device, the Maximals and Predacons are born, designed to serve as successors to the Autobots and Decepticons. When the Builders decide that they have created enough new lives to serve as cannon fodder, they hide the energon matrix in the frame of Lio Convoy. Head Games Broken Windshields While the Builders see these newborn Transformers as proxy soldiers to carry on their now-pointless war, the conflict soons gives way to the Games, a rigidly-structured affair incorporating gladiatorial combat and overseen by the "Administrator" Eject. • Under Eject's tutelage, Lio Convoy becomes the "Guardian of Order", a third party combatant designed to rig the Games and provide an endless source of amusement for the Builders. Broken Windshields
• Grimlock illegally transfers his Spark into a Maximal body and attempts to bomb the Builder Assembly. His plan is foiled and he is imprisoned within Fortress Maximus. Micro-Aggressions

2314 (330 SCA)

• Hot Rod downsizes into a Micromaster body, working to reform the corrupt Builder civilization from within. Over the next seventy years, some other Builders decide to become Micromasters and take up residence in Micropolis. Micro-Aggressions

2344 (380 SCA)

• Blix is reborn on Ny Norge as part of the Eutychtus Project. Intersectionality

Late 24th century (~391 SCA)

• Silverbolt and Rhinox are killed in action in a Game against the Predacon Darksyders. Rattrap escapes by faking his own death and goes underground. Blackarachnia works together with Nightscream and Cheetor to take out their commander, then go on to inspire the first costly uprising against the Builders. This early rebellion ends with Cheetor captured and interred within Fortress Maximus. • A Maximal named Trans-Mutate winds up working with the mobster Cryotek after her inquiries into Cybertron's contradictory records of the past go nowhere. When Cryotek discards her, she falls into the company of Rattrap and his new resistance cell, a team consisting of Botanica, Jawbreaker, and Geckobot. 2384 (400 SCA)

• Quickstrike kills Stinkbomb in the 1923d Game, a victory ensured by Lio Convoy. Broken Windshields
• Blackarachnia returns from Axiom Nexus. Although she intends to travel to Earth, she is dragged back to her native Cybertron by the Energon Matrix in Lio Convoy's chest. Her ire at the corrupt system stikes a chord in Lio Convoy, and he goes on ther un after rescuing Noctorro from police brutality. He reunites with Blackarachnia and her two allies B'boom and Scylla, founding the Resistance. Broken Windshields
• The 1924th Game begins, a "Cull" of previous champions. The Resistance goes public shortly after the match begins; Lio Convoy interrupts the proceedings to assassinate Supersonic with an Anglomois Blaster, then reveals his role in the fixed matches. Broken Windshields
