- Kusunoki has dubbed for Tyrese Gibson in numerous films, including Annapolis, Four Brothers, Flight of the Phoenix and 2 Fast 2 Furious. As fate would have it, though, he did NOT dub Gibson in the live-action Transformers film series. Jin Yamanoi got that job.
- Kusunoki has dubbed for The Rock in numerous films, including G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Get Smart, Faster and Walking Tall. And yet the job of playing Prime Cliffjumper went to Noriaki Sugiyama. He just can't win.
- Kusunoki has worked with the most sound directors (4) than any seiyuu in the Transformers franchise with those being Hideo Takahashi, Yoshikazu Iwanami, Yôta Tsuruoka and Keiichirō Miyoshi.
