- Vector Prime clarified via Ask Vector Prime that he does not have a mustache, and that people merely mistake his facial articulation for one.
- Minimus Ambus refers to the mustache he and Dominus both share as the facial insignia of the House of Ambus, providing at least some explanation as to why facial hair exists in the 2005 IDW continuity.
